선별적 구간의 심플렉스 중심 배열에 의한 최적 비율 탐사 사례 연구

국문 초록

본 연구에서는 혼합물 실험에서 최적 비율을 탐사하는 방법을 다루었다. 혼합물 실험이란 각 성분의 총량이 고정된 상태에서 각 성분의 혼합비율에 관심을 두고, 어떤 혼합 비율이 최적의 반응을 유도하는가를 찾는 것이다. 본 연구에서는 다섯 가지 성분 비율로 영양제를 만들어, 특정 미생물을 배양했을 때 어떤 혼합 비율에서 면역증진제인 글루칸(glucan)이 최대로 생산되는가를 다루었다. 성분들의 합이 1이 되는 실험설계 방법으로는 심플렉스 격자형 배열법, 심플렉스 중심형 배열법, 심플렉스 선별 계획법 등 다양한 방법이 존재한다. 본 연구에서는 심플렉스 중심 배열법을 사용하여 혼합물을 제조하였다. 그런데, 심플렉스의 전체 영역에는 실험 실시가 불가능한 상황이 존재하므로 제한된 영역에서 실험을 설계하고 반응표면분석으로 최적비율을 탐사하였다. 다항 회귀식으로부터 제한된 영역 조건을 만족하는 최적 비율을 유도하기 위해서 비선형 모형식을 계산하는 IMSL NCONG 부프로그램을 사용하였다.

영문 초록

In this research, we conducted a mixture experiment to find the optimal ingredient proportions of a compound for microbial production of a immunoenhancer-glucan. Simplex designs such as the simplex lattice design, the simplex screening design, and the simplex centroid design were considered and among these the simplex centroid design was chosen to be used in this research. Here, our mixture consists of five factors that are syrup, vitamin-c, amino acid, mineral, and powder. The actual levels of the five factors have the lower and upper limits. Thus, we used a restricted simplex centroid design under the constraints and considered the powder, the fifth factor, as a dummy variable. Then, in order to find the optimal proportions, a polynomial regression model was fit to the experimental data. As the sum of proportions is one, this model for the analysis of a mixture experiment has no intercept and no quadratic terms, and thus it is different from an ordinary second-order polynomial regression model. We used the IMSL NCONG subroutine that uses nonlinear programming to find the optimal proportions.
