국문 초록

본 연구는 알코올중독에 대한 인식 측정도구의 신뢰도와 타당도를 검증하는 것이다. 연구대상자는 일 지역 주민 567명이었다. 도구의 문항은 문헌 고찰과 전문가 자문에 의한 내용타당도 분석 후 부적합한 문항을 삭제하고 최종 23문항을 선정하였다. 타당도 검증을 위한 탐색적 요인분석 결과 총 4개의 요인으로 전체 분산에 대한 설명력은 64.1%로 나타났다. 제1요인(7문항)은 ‘알코올중독의 신체적 증상(physical sign)’으로 설명력은 36.430%, 제2요인(5문항은 ‘알코올중독의 정의(definition)’로 13.105%, 제3요인(4문항)은 ‘알코올중독의 치료적 방법(therapeutic method)’으로 8.021%였으며, 제4요인(7문항)은 ‘알코올중독의 성격 및 행동특성(personality and behavioral characteristics)’으로 6.579%로 분석되었다. 또한 판별타당도를 위해 알코올중독 인식에 대한 점수가 알코올중독예방 교육 참여 유무에 따라 유의한 차이(t=5.22, p<.001)가 있었다. 또한 도구의 신뢰도 검증결과 전체 23개 문항의 신뢰계수 Cronbach alpha값은 .85이었으며 Guttman 반분 신뢰도 계수는 .83으로 나타나 향후 알코올중독에 대한 인식을 측정하는 도구로 적절히 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to test the validity and reliability measurement scale on recognition about alcoholism for community residents. The subjects of this study were a total of 567 (307 male, 260 female) G city residents. Data were collected during the period from October 10, 2012 to January 20, 2013. The collected data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, factor analysis, Cronbach alpha, Guttman split-half, and Pearson correlation coefficients using the SPSS 20.0 program. The 23 items making up the instrument were classified into the following 4 factors; ‘physical sign of alcoholism’, ‘definition of alcoholism’, ‘therapeutic method of alcoholism’, ‘personality and behavior characteristics of alcoholism’. These factors explained 64.1% of the total variance. Also, discriminant validity showed the effective difference (t=5.22, p<.001) by participation of alcoholism prevention education. Cronbach alpha and Guttman split-half coefficient were .85, and .84 respectively. Based on the above findings, it is recommended that measurement scale on recognition about alcoholism may be useful for efficiently evaluation on alcohol prevention programs in community residents.
