이공계를 위한 기업경영관련 교과목 개발에 관한 소고

국문 초록

현대사회는 다양한 전문지식을 요구하고 있으며 이에 따라 특정 공학 기술에만 관심을 둔 공학계열의 교과목 구성에도 변화가 요구되고 있다. 사회와 산업체가 요구하는 능력 있는 인재를 양성하기 위하여 산업체의 의견이 반영되고 미래 사회를 선도하는 CEO형 공학도 양성에 필요한 경영학 지식을 제공하는 교과목 개발이 절실히 요구되고 있는 실정이다. 본 논문에서는 이공계 학생들의 성공적인 기업적응을 위한 필수적 능력과 기술을 활용하는 능력을 제고하기 위하여 공학 교육의 교양 및 전공선택 과목으로서 경영학과 관련된 두 교과목 “이공계생을 위한 기업정보의 이해와 활용”, “이공계생을 위한 기술벤처 기업의 창업”을 개발하였다. 이들 과목의 수강을 통하여 공과대학 학생들의 기업에 대한 이해를 증진시킬 수 있으며 사회와 기업의 현장요구를 효과적으로 전달할 수 있을 것으로 기대하며 현장 적응력 높은 실용교육의 성격을 강화할 수 있음은 물론 공학계열의 전공과목의 경직성을 해소하고 기업이 요구하는 기술경영자 양성 및 높은 적응력을 갖춘 인재교육에 많은 도움을 줄 것이다.

영문 초록

As a variety of professional knowledges and abilities are required for the modern society, there is a demand for change in the undergraduate curriculum of the engineering field, which have long been confined to certain technologies. To produce people of talent that the society and the industry need, course programs that reflect the opinions of the industry and provide management skills needed for training Techno-CEO need to be developed. Two courses, “The Understanding of Business Information and Application for Engineering Students” and “Technology Venture for Engineering Students” were developed after collecting basic data through the opinions of the industry and the students of the engineering majors as well as the analysis of the related subjects by professors of the engineering and management departments. With the outcomes of this research, engineering students will have a better understanding of the corporations that they will be performing in, and the engineering departments around the country will be able to enhance the quality of their courses.
