보건정보를 활용한 가정의학과 재원일수에 관한 연구

국문 초록

재원일수는 입원시점부터 퇴원까지 병실에서 제공되는 서비스의 최종 종결까지 소요되는 시간으로 이에 영향을 미치는 요인은 환자와 관련한 특성과 가정의학과와 관련된 특성이 있을 것이다. 재원일수와 관련된 환자의 특성으로는 환자의 연령, 질환, 중증도, 동반질환 등이다. 특히 재원일수는 환자의 치료 과정과 관련된 지표로서 병실에서 제공된 서비스에 대한 활용 및 질 관리 지표로 사용될 수 있을 것이다. 지금까지의 의료에 대한 사회적 요구는 주로 양적 확대였으나, 최근에는 질적 충실의 시대로 전환되고 있다.이에 본 연구에서는 환자관리를 위해 국내 A 대학병원의 가정의학과 입원환자 자료를 이용하여 가정의학과의 특성과 제반요인을 파악하여 재원일수 단축을 위한 기반 정보를 제시하고자 한다.

영문 초록

The number of hospitalization days is the time lasting from reception at the center to discharge from hospital, that is, finalizing services provided at wards. The factors having effect on the number of hospitalization days, will have features related to patients and to family medicine. The patient features related to the hospitalization days are ages of patients, diseases, seriousness, accompanying illness and so on. Especially, the hospitalization days are the index related to treatment procedures for patients, and will be used as the index which shows the practical use of services provided at wards and the quality management. While social demand for medical services has been quantity maximization until now, recent demand is changed into quality completeness.This research is to figure out features of family medicine and various factors by using patient data of family medicine of a hospital for managing patients, and to provide basic informations for shortening hospitalization days.
