국문 초록

본 연구는 여성의 이혼 과정과 그 경험을 탐색하고 여성에게 이혼이라는 생애 사건이 여성의 삶에 어떤 의미가 있는지 해석학적 순환의 글쓰기를 통해 성찰하였다. 연구 자료는 연구 참여자의 심층 면담 자료, 파우스트, 영화, 예술작품, 연구일지이며, 연구 방법은 브리꼴라주를 사용하였다. 연구 결과, 실천적 탐구과정에서 이혼 여성은 사랑과 결혼의 ‘관계에서 비존재 하면서 역할을 수행하였고’, ‘폭력에 저항하고 살아남고자’ 했으며, ‘미치거나 죽고 싶지 않아’ 이혼을 선택하였다. 이후, 이혼 과정에서 ‘소통하며 생존하고자’ 하였다. 실존적 탐구로서 파우스트 속 여성 ‘그레트헨’은 타자의 시선에서 벗어나지 못하고, 남성의 세계관에 자신과 자녀가 희생되는 수동적인 존재로, ‘헬레네’는 자신의 목소리로 자신의 감정을 표현하고 혼돈을 극복하고자 하는 심혼을 의미하였다. 따라서 ‘그레트헨’은 관계 속에서 비존재하고 역할로 존재하는 수동적인 여성으로, ‘헬레네’는 이혼을 통해 자신의 존재를 확인하는 방식과 공표하는 여성에 비유될 수 있다. 본 연구를 통해 여성의 이혼 과정은 여성이 주체로 존재하기의 과정이 될 수 있고, 자신의 관점과 인식을 바탕으로 새로운 삶의 전환을 이루려는 의지를 표명하면서 긍정적 내러티브(narrative)를 써 내려갈 수 있는 과정임을 알 수 있다.

영문 초록

This study explored the process and experience of divorce for a woman and reflects through the hermeneutic circulation writing about the meaning of the life event of divorce for a woman. The research data are based on in-depth interview of the participants, Faust, movies, works of art, and research journals and Bricollage was used as a research method. During the practical inquiry process, the divorced woman ‘played a role not being in a relationship’ of love and marriage, struggled ‘to resist violence and survive,’ and ‘worked hard not go crazy or die’. Later, in the process of divorce, she tried to ‘communicate and survive.’ As an existential quest, Gretchen, the woman in Faust,, was not free from the other’s attentionand remained passive being victimized by herself and her children in a world dominated by the male point of view while “Helene” meant the soul to express emotions and overcome chaos as a woman with her own voice. Therefore, ‘Gretchen’ is a passive woman who does not exist in a relationship and exists only as a role, and “Helene” can be likened to a woman who identifies and announces her existence through divorce. The study showed the divorce process can be a process for women to exist as subjects, and express her willingness to make a new life change based on their own perspectives and perceptions and write a positive narrative.
