두 한국춤 예술가의 생애사에 나타난 춤 학습경험의 의미

국문 초록

춤 예술에 있어 한국춤은 인간이 주체가 되어 몸으로서 발현되는 학습의 과정을 갖고 있다. 춤은 몸의 움직임을 통해 의미를 전달하는 예술로써 몸으로 표현하여 미적가치를 전달한다. 이러한 관점에서 이 연구는 두 한국춤 예술가의 생애사에 나타난 춤 학습경험의 맥락과 의미를 통해 몸 학습에 대한 교육적 가치를 탐구하고자 한 연구이다. 그 결과 한국춤 예술가의 춤 학습경험은 삶 속에서 이루어지는 여러 경험을 체화시키고 인간이 삶을 만끽할 수 있게 도움을 주며, 개별 인간으로서 전인의 회복을 도와줄 수 있는 몸을 통한 학습의 가치를 갖는다. 또한 몸에 대한 일심(一心)적 태도로서 고유한 질성 체험을 통해 생활 속의 다양한 문제를 해결할 수 있게 하고 몸과 마음, 영혼이 하나 되는 경험으로 자신의 실존적 가치를 실현할 수 있게 한다. 그리고 두 한국춤 예술가의 춤 학습경험은 인간의 삶을 통합적으로 이해할 수 있는 몸짓을 통해 끊임없이 자기와의 만남과 배움의 가치를 제공하며, 오늘날 내몰리는 학습 속에 빠진 교육의 문제점을 환기시키는 해결책으로 제공될 수 있다. 마지막으로 두 한국춤 예술가의 춤 학습경험은 몸을 매개로 타자와 접속하며, 나와 세계를 연결시키는 교감의 장으로써 인간의 고유한 몸을 동원하여 학습하는 감각적인 성찰을 이루게 한다. 따라서 몸은 삶과 경험의 교차점에 존재하기 때문에 인간의 생애는 몸을 통해 평생 동안 학습하고 경험을 하며 자신의 삶을 과거와 현재, 그리고 미래에 대해 통합적으로 이해하게 되는 교육적인 방법으로써 인간의 본질적인 성찰을 도울 것이라 사료 된다.

영문 초록

In the field of dance art, Korean dance has a learning process in which humans are expressed in dance as the main entity. Above all, Korean dance moves embodies the thoughts and emotions of Koreans, and are aimed to seek harmony between the nature and humans through the act of dancing. Dancing is an art that delivers meaning through body movements, and it conveys aesthetic values. From this point of view, this study explores context and meaning of the meaning of somatic learning in the lives of the two Korean dance artists and examines a exploring educational values. In this study, the main results of analyzing the context of ‘Chum’ learning experiences viewed through the life of the two Korean dance artists are as follows. First, the Korean dance artists’ experience in dance could be presented as a way to restore individual humanity, helping people enjoy life with embodiment of various experiences in life. Second, the experience of the Korean dance artists in dance was a consistent attitude toward the body, enabling them to solve various problems in life through their unique qualitative experience, and realizing their existential value through the experience of being one all in body, mind and soul. Third, the Korean dance artists’ experience of learning dance could be a solution that constantly provides the value of meeting and learning with oneself through gestures to understand human life in an integrated way, and evokes the problems of lifelong education mired in the trend of excessively driven learning today. Fourth, the Korean dance artists’ experience of learning dance would lead to a place of communication that connects oneself and the world, connecting the body with the others through the medium of the body and making a sensual reflection through unique body experiences.
