국문 초록

최근 공간정보 연구는 점차 융복합 특성을 나타내고 있기 때문에 공간정보의 연구분야를 분류하기 위한 적절한 기준이 필요하다. 본 연구는 전문가 설문을 통해 활용(application), 기술(technology), 인프라(infrastructure), 정책(policy) 분야로 구성된 공간정보 연구분야 분류체계를 도출하였다. 이 분류체계를 근간으로 공간정보 분야의 연구 흐름을 분석하였다. 활용과 기술 분야는 점진적 성장세, 인프라스트럭쳐 분야는 점진적 하향세, 정책분야는 현상유지를 보였다. 전체 분야에서 추출된 주요 키워드는 ‘geographic information system’이었으며, 학문분류 네트워크 분석 결과, 컴퓨터 과학 응용 분야가 다른 학문분야간 융합의 매개체로서 가장 핵심적인 위상을 가지고 있었다. 본 연구 결과는 정책입안자, 연구자, 관련산업 종사자, 기업 등 이해관계자에게 주요한 의사결정에 자료로 활용될 수 있다.

영문 초록

Recently, research on spatial information is gradually showing convergence characteristics. Therefore, appropriate criteria for classifying research fields of spatial information are needed. This study derives a classification system of spatial information research fields consisting of application, technology, infrastructure, and policy fields through an expert questionnaire. Based on this classification system, the research flow in the field of spatial information was analyzed. The utilization and technology sectors showed a gradual growth, the infrastructure sector steadily declined, and the policy sector maintained a status quo. The key keyword extracted from the whole field was geographic information system , and the results of the AIS analysis showed that the field of computer science application was the most important medium for convergence between different disciplines. The results of this study can be used as data for decision-making that is important to stakeholders such as policy makers, researchers, workers in related industries, and companies.
