해산(海山) 김정묵(金正默)의 사회적 연망과 해외 망명

국문 초록

이 글은 독립운동가 해산(海山) 김정묵(金正默)에 관한 연구이다. 그는 1963년 대통령표창, 1991년에 건국훈장 애국장에 추서되었지만, 그의 독립운동에 대한 연구는 없었다. 또 그의 형제들과 아들들의 독립운동에 대한 조사와 정리, 그리고 독립운동가로서의 포상도 이루어지지않았다. 지금까지 김정묵의 독립운동에 관한 연구는 없었다. 그는 1918년 가족과 함께 북만주 펑텐(奉天)으로 망명하여 베이징･상하이･펑텐 등지에서 대한민국임시정부 임시의정원 경상도위원과 중국 국민당정부의 군벌 장쉐량(張學良) 휘하에서 군법처장(軍法處長)으로 활동하였다. 이 기간 중 광복회(光復會), 국민대표회의 북경통일책진회(北京統一策進會), 북경한교구락부(北京韓僑俱樂部), 북경한교동지회(北京韓僑同志會), 한국유일독립당 북경촉성회(韓國唯一獨立黨 北京促成會), 한인애국단(韓人愛國團), 의열단(義烈團) 등의 독립운동 단체에서 활동하다가 1944년 4월 19일 베이징에서 사망한 것으로 알려져 있을 뿐, 1918년 이전의 행적은 알려져 있지 않다. 이 글은 1918년 이전의 유년기의 성장 과정이나 행적에 관해 조사하고 정리하였다. 다행히 필자는 그의 유년기 행적과 1911년 연해주의 블라디보스토크 망명, 그리고 1915년 베이징의 법정학교 수학시기에 남긴 단편적인 기록을 발견할 수 있었다. 그렇지만 직접적이 사료는 거의 없고, 대부분 간접적인 사료들이다. 또 간접적인 사료들도 그의 후손들이 기억하는 것이 전부라 해도 과언이 아니다. 그만큼 그에 관해서 관심이 부족했고, 그의 생애와 활동에 대한 조사와 연구가 없었기 때문이다. 이 글은 산견하고 있는 기록을 통해 그의 출생과 성장, 본가와 처가의 연비관계, 그리고 1911년 국외 망명 이후 연해주의 블라디보스토크와 북만주의 미산부(蜜山府), 그리고 베이징에서 활동했던 흔적들을 연결하여 그의 행적을 살펴보았다. 따라서 이 글은 1918년 이전 그의 사회적 연결망과 국외에서 국권회복을 위해 펼친 독립운동을 조명하는데 초점을 맞추어 서술하였다.

영문 초록

This article is a study on Haesan Kim Jeong-mook who was an independent activist during the Japanese Colonial Period. He was conferred with the Presidential Commendation in 1963 and Founding Medallion in Patriotic Award in 1991, but there has been no study on his independence movement. Also, there has been no survey and summary on independence movement of his brethren and sons and there was no reward as the independent activist. The record regarding the independence movement of Kim Jeong-mook known to this point is shown as follows. He exiled to Peng Ten of North Manchuria along with his family n 1918. And he served as a member of Gyeongsang Province and provincial parliamentary member for the provisional government of Korea, general director of military law under Chang She-rang, the military stronghold of People s Party of China in Beijing, Shanghai and Peng Ten. During this period, he worked for a number of independence movement organizations, such as, Gwangbokhoe, National Representative Council Beijing Unification Promotion Association, Beijing Korean Resident Organization, Beijing Korean Resident Association, Korea Unification Independence Party, Beijing Jokseonghoe, Korean Patriot Association, Uiyeoldan and others and passed away in Beijing on April 19, 1944. Accordingly, there is nothing known with respect to his growing process of the youth period or activities prior to 1918. This article is on survey and summary on his growing process of the youth period or activities prior to 1918. Fortunately, the writer was able to discover the fragment records that he left from his younger days in exile to Vladivostok of Siberia and at law school of Beijing in 1915. However, there was very few data available and most of the available data was indirect data. Also, the indirect data would be relied on the memories of his descendents. This was attributable to the fact that there was no significant interest on him and there was no survey and study on his life and activities. This is the limit for this article to retain. This article is intended to take a look at his actions by linking the facts and traces of his birth and growth, relationship of his family and in-law family, his activities in Vladivostok of Siberia, Misan-gu (미산부) in North Manchuria and Beijing after his exile in 1911 through the scattered record. Therefore, this article had the focus on shedding the light on independence movement for restoring the national sovereignty in overseas and social network prior to 1918.
