자연 형상의 조형성을 적용한 인그레이빙 패턴 디자인 연구

국문 초록

예술과 디자인에 있어서 그 목적 중 하나는 미의 창조일 것이다. 자연은 인간이 아름답다고 느끼는 대표적인 대상물이며, 미의 창조 활동에 무한한 소재를 제공하는 모티브가 되고 있다. 본 연구는 자연의 형상과 아름다움을 인식하는 인간의 미의식 발현 기제의 상호 연관성을 분석하여, 이것이 시계 제작 기법에 어떻게 적용될 수 있는지 연구하고, 특히 장식기법에 영향을 미칠 수 있는지 연구하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 자연의 패턴과 질서에 대해 이론적으로 고찰하고 인간의 시각적 호감과 자연의 형상 질서의 관계성에 대해 분석하였다. 자연의 패턴 중 프랙탈과 대칭성을 중심으로 분석해 보았고, 이것이 어떻게 인간에게 인지되어 아름다움을 느끼는지 그 알고리즘에 대해 연구해보았다. 미의 인지 알고리즘을 바탕으로 분석된 자연의 조형성을 패턴화하여 시계 디자인에서 장식 요소로써 사용 가능성을 연구하였다. 이 연구를 바탕으로 시계 디자인에 있어서 자연 형상 패턴 장식이 디자인적 요소로써 활용될 수 있음을 확인할 수 있었고, 나아가 자연의 조형성을 기반으로 패턴 디자인의 다양한 활용성에 대해 제시하고자 한다.

영문 초록

One of the purposes of art and design would be the creation of beauty. Nature is a representative object that humans feel beautiful, and it has become a motive that provides infinite material to the creative activity of beauty. The purpose of this study is to analyze the interrelationship between the mechanisms of human aesthetic expression that recognizes the shape and beauty of nature, to study how it can be applied to the clock making technique, and to study how it can affect the decorative technique. To this end, this study theoretically examines the patterns and orders of nature and analyzes the relationship between human visual appeal and the shape order of nature. This study analyzed the fractal and symmetry of nature s patterns, and studied the algorithm how this is perceived and perceived by humans. The possibility of use as a decorative element in the design of a watch was studied by patterning the formativeness of nature analyzed based on the cognitive algorithm of beauty. Based on this study, it was confirmed that natural shape pattern decoration could be used as a design element in the design of watches, and furthermore, I would like to suggest various applications of pattern design based on the nature of nature.
