국문 초록

김정희는 燕行을 통해 北學의 기반을 닦았지만, 그의 연행에 관한 자료는 많지 않다. 자신이 연행록을 남기지 않은 탓도 있지만, 당시 만난 청나라 문사들의 기록 속에서도 김정희 관련 정보가 거의 남아 있지 않기 때문이다. 다행히 김정희가 귀국 당시에 남긴 시를 통해 그의 연경 생활을 짐작할 수 있었다. 그러나 이전 연구에서는 시 속에 담긴 의미를 정확히 파악하기 못했다. 필자는 이중에서 阮元과 朱寉年에 대해 언급한 김정희의 詩句에 주목하였다. 이 시구의 이미를 이해하기 위해 먼저 김정희의 筆談 자료를 통해 김정희가 연행 당시에 완원의 초상화에 제지를 남겼다는 사실과 그 내용을 처음 소개하였다. 김정희가 題識를 쓴 완원 초상화의 실체는 확인 할 수 없지만, 김정희 연경 활동의 일면을 확인할 수 있었다. 다음으로 주학년이 그린 <祭硯圖>에 남긴 김정희의 拜觀記를 처음으로 소개하였다. 이를 통해 김정희가 연행 이전에 이미 서울에서 결성한 勾竹會 모임에서 주학년의 <勾竹圖>를 감상한 사실을 확인하였다. 아울러 김정희는 이와 관련하여 ‘勾菴’이란 호를 사용하기도 하였고, 그의 서재를 ‘勾竹室’이라 부르기도 한 사실을 새롭게 밝혀냈다.

영문 초록

Kim Jeonghui(金正喜) has laid the foundation for Qing Dynasty Studies and Art through his travel to Yanjing(燕京), but there is not much data on his travel. It is partly because he did not leave a travel record, but there is little information about Kim Jeonghui in the records of the Qing(淸) Dynasty writers he met at the time. Fortunately, the poem Kim Jeonghui left on his way back to Joseon gave a clue to his life in Yanjing. I noted the phrase that Kim Jeonghui mentioned in the poem about Ruan Yuan(阮元) and Zhu Henian(朱寉年). To understand the meaning of this poem, I first reviewed the written conversation left by Kim Jeonghui and the writers of the Qing Dynasty. As a result, I found out for the first time that Kim Jeonghui left a record in Ruan Yuan s portrait during the travel, and I introduced the contents as well. Although it is not possible to see the actual images of the Ruan Yuan portrait that Kim Jeonghui left a record, we were able to see some of Kim Jeonghui s Yanjing activities. Next, I introduced appreciation record(拜觀記) left by Kim Jeonghui on , which was painted by Zhu Henian. It was confirmed that Kim Jeonghui appreciated the “Gouzhutu(勾竹圖)” of Zhu Henian at an association meeting already formed in Seoul before his travel to Yanjing. I also newly discovered that Kim Jeonghui used the nickname ‘GuAm(勾菴)’ and called his study ‘GuJukSil(勾竹室)’ in this connection.
