한부모 가족의 주거이력에 관한 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 한부모 가족 형성과정에서 발생하는 비자발적 주거이동을 분석하기 위해 주거특성에 따라 한부모 가족의 유형을 분류하고 주거이력을 고찰하여 그 차이를 분석하였다. 한부모 가족의 주거문제는 그 형성과정에서 인구·사회적 특성, 자녀연령, 경제적 수준, 주거경험 등에 따라 다를 것으로 예상되기 때문이다. 한부모 가족의 유형 분류를 위해 혼인상태, 월평균소득, 고용형태, 총가구원수, 주거이동 횟수를 변수로 사용하여 3개의 군집을 분류하였다. 그 결과, 1유형인 이혼 한부모, 2유형인 사별 한부모, 3유형인 미혼 한부모로 도출되었다. 1유형은 이혼로 인해 주거환경이 급격히 하락하고, 이 열악한 주거환경이 지속되는 집단이다. 주거이력 상태를 추적한 결과 주거이동 경험이 증가하여도 자력으로 상향이동이 불가능한 것으로 나타났다. 2유형은 사별에 의해 한부모가 형성되었고, 그 후 주거이동이 발생한 집단으로 상대적으로 주거수준이 안정되어 있있으며, 자력으로 주거의 상향이동이 가능한 형태로 나타났다. 3유형은 미혼 한부모로 임신·출산에 의해 미혼 한부모 형성이 된 후 자녀양육을 위한 주거이동을 한 집단으로 타 군집 보다 기타형태의 주거이동이 다수 이루어졌고, 무상으로 친척친구집이다 일시적 거소 등에 머물다가 자녀의 성장에 따라 주거이동을 하며, 때로는 주변의 도움으로 주거상향이동까지 하는 집단으로 볼 수 있다. 따라서 1유형은 주거상태의 하향이동을 막기 위해 한곳에서 안심하고 거주할 수 있는 주거환경을 마련 할 필요가 있으며, 3유형의 경우 형성직후 집중적인 주거지원을 통해 미취업으로 인해 발생할 수 있는 생계곤란, 자녀양육 곤란 등을 미연에 방지하고, 자력으로 주거이동 할 수 있는 기반을 마련해 줄 필요가 있다. 즉, 이혼, 사별, 미혼모 발생 등 어쩔 수 없는 상황으로 촉발되는 주거이동의 경우 공적주택 등 주거지원이 적절한 시기에 제공될 수 있어야 하며, 주거지원 정책은 한부모 가족의 세분화된 특성에 적합하게 적용되어야 할 것이다.

영문 초록

Single-parent families face many challenges in the formation process, such as a sharp decrease in income, burden of child rearing, household burdens, and social and institutional prejudice. It is difficult for a woman to re-enter the labor market immediately after the formation because it is difficult to have a stable career in the labor market due to family life-long events such as marriage or childbirth (Kim Ga-yul, 2007). In addition, if you have young children, you will need a suitable and secure residence to raise your child. In other words, in the process of forming a single-parent family housing movement is generated and the demand for housing suitable for the new situation (Kirsten Gram-Hanssen, 2005), a situation that requires a housing welfare policy suitable for the situation. The study tracked the housing history of single-parent families to determine the realities of the situation and demonstrated differences in housing movement by type of single-parent family. The study method was typed into a single-parent group by characteristic cluster using a two-stage cluster analysis of SPSS, using the chi-square test of pearson residential history by type, that is, residential mobile areas, occupancy forms, housing type differences were analyzed. Through this, we will use this as the basis for a demonstration of the difference separating single-parent families from moving to housing, and to find housing assistance that is appropriate for the situation of single-parent families.
