기업의 사회적 책임 투자가 회계정보에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 재무적 요소를 담고 있는 사회책임투자(SRI) 지수를 투자자들이 활용하여 기업가치를 평가하고 있는지를 분석하고, SRI지수의 정보효과가 기업 가치에 영향 관계가 형성 되어 실질적으로 기업의 경영성과에 영향을 주는지 실증분석을 통해 그 유의한 차이를 확인한 다. 분석결과, 첫째, 사회적 책임 투자는 기업의 재무적 성과에는 긍정적인 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 기업의 사회적 책임 투자는 기업가치에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 사회책임투자 지수 편입기업의 평균비정상수익률은 지수 편입공시 시점의 전과 후로 유의한 양(＋)의 수익률을 보여주었다. 또한 누적평균비정상수익률에 대한 분석결과도 지 수 편입공시 시점을 이후로 연속적으로 상승하였다. 이러한 검증 결과를 바탕으로 기업이 사회 책임투자를 통해 자발적으로 경제적, 사회적, 윤리적 등의 비재무적 요소들에 대한 종합적인 사 항들을 경영에 고려하여 기업과 사회의 발전을 도모할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to analyze whether socially responsible investment index, which contains financial factors, is used by investors to evaluate corporate value, The results of this study are as follows. The results of this study are as follows：First, socially responsible investment has no positive effect on firm s financial performance. Second, corporate socially responsible investment has a positive effect on firm value. Third, the average unsteady returns of firms included in SRI were significantly(＋) before and after disclosure of the index. In addition, the results of cumulative average abnormal returns have continuously risen since the time of the incorporation of the index. Based on the results of this verification, it is expected that companies will be able to voluntarily promote the development of enterprises and society by taking into account the comprehensive issues concerning non－financial factors such as economic, social and ethical management through management through socially responsible investment.
