｢七灘亭十六景圖｣와 李瀷의 ｢七灘亭十六景｣ 詩의 비교(2)* 1) 화면상의 풍경과 시적 풍경의 관계 양상을 중심으로

국문 초록

이 글에서는 화면상의 풍경과 보완 관계를 보이는 이익의 ｢칠탄정십육경」 시 7수를 무명 화가의 ｢칠탄정십육경도」 그림 7점과 비교하여 화면상의 풍경과 시적 풍경이 어떤 차이가 있으며 그 차이가 발생하게 된 이유가 무엇인지에 대해 살펴보았 다. 그럼으로써 화면상의 풍경이 언어를 통해 시적 풍경으로 재산출될 때 시적 변형이 왜 그리고 어떻게 발생하는지를 규명하였다. 화면상의 풍경과 시적 풍경의 차이는 다음과 같은 두 가지 요인에 의해 발생한다. 그림의 표제에 대한 화가와 시인의 상이한 관점과 표현 매체로서 그림과 시의 상이한 속성이 바로 그것이다. 이 두가지 요인이 개별적으로 작용할 수도 있고 복합적으로 작용할 수도 있다. ｢소당고 하」, ｢조기수간」, ｢등연어화」 ,｢연교목우」 시 4수에서는 표현 매체로서 그림과 시의 상이한 속성으로 인해 시적 풍경이 화면상의 풍경과 부분적인 차이를 보인다. ｢죽촌취연」, ｢선암도기」, ｢월교귀승」 시 3수에서는 두 요인의 복합적인 작용으로 인해 시적 풍경이 화면상의 풍경에 대해 부분적인 차이를 보인다.

영문 초록

In this paper, the difference between poetic scenes and pictorial scenes, and what caused the difference, are studied by comparing Lee Ik’s Chil Tan Pavilion sixteen poems(七灘亭十六景詩) showing the supplementing relation to Chil Tan Pavilion sixteen pictures(七灘亭十六 景圖). In doing so, it was revealed why and how poetic variations occur when pictorial scenes are acquired through language into poetic scenes. The difference between poetic scenes and pictorial scenes is caused by two factors: The different viewpoint of the painter and poet about the title of picture and the different attributes of the picture and poetry as medium of expression. These two factors may work individually or in a complex way. In four poems, such as the lonely lotus leaves in a small pond(小塘孤荷) , the fishing lamp in deng-yen(燈淵漁火) , the fishing at a fishing spot(釣磯垂竿) , and the driving of cattle in a foggy field (煙郊牧牛) , the poetic scene differs in part from the pictorial scene due to their different attributes of the picture and poetry as medium of expression. In three poems, such as the play Baduk on Sinseon Rock (仙巖賭碁) , the monk crossed the Moon bridge to return to the temple(月橋歸僧) , and a the smoke from cooking rice in Jukchon villeag(竹村炊煙) , the poetic scene differs in part from the pictorial scene due to the combined effect of the two factors.
