국문 초록

2000年代以降の日本映画において 在日 を描いたものは多数製作され た。特にGO(2001)をはじめ、パッチギ!(2005)、焼肉ドラゴン (2018)など、大衆的に人気を得て商業映画として成功を収めた作品も珍し くない。しかし、現代の日本社会を生きる 在日 ではなく、植民地時代に おける朝鮮人を描いた現代日本映画は非常に少ないといえる。本稿では、 植民地時代の朝鮮人が現代日本映画にどのように表象されているかについ て2008年に公開された映画丘を越えてを中心に考察を試みる。 丘を越えては大正から昭和にかけて活動した文学者菊池寛と彼の女性 秘書、そして朝鮮出身の青年馬海松という3人の実存人物をモデルにして 作られた映画である。しかし、丘を越えての全体的な設定はリアリティ に基づいているものの、映画の軸になっている3人の関係はフィクション である。本稿では、そのリアリティとフィクションの狭間で作られた朝鮮 人表象を分析することによって、現代日本の大衆文化が植民地時代におい ての朝鮮人をどのように認識しているかについて考えてみたい。

영문 초록

Japanese films which have been created since the 2000s contain many “zaini chi”-featuring works. In particular, there are a number of publicly popular films such as GO(2001), Pacchigi!(2005), and Yakiniku Dragon (2018). These films depict “zainichi”-people who live in contemporary Japanese societies. On the other hand, few films have been created which depict Joseon people of the colonial era. In this paper, we analyze Oka-o Koete(2008) in order to examine how Joseon people of the colonial era are represented in contemporary Japanese films. Oka-o Koete is based on three figures: the literature scholar Kan Kikuchi, who was active from Taisho period to Showa period, his female secretary, and Ma Haesong/Ma Kaishou(馬海松), a young man from Joseon. While the general picture of the film reflects the situation of the time, the relationship between the three characters is a fiction. In the present study, we analyze the representation of Joseon people in the interwoven textile of actual and fictional contexts, in order to reveal the ways in which Joseon people of the colonial time were recognized in the public cultures of contemporary Japan.
