국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 안전한 학교 공간을 조성하기 위해 교육 시설 건축 계획및 설계 단계에 적용될 수 있는 CPTED 적용 방법의 특성을 찾는 것이다. 이를 위해 일본의 2개 중학교를 대상으로 건축가가 학교설계단계에서 적용한 CPTED 방식을 조사 분석하였다. 결과는 다음과 같이 요약된다. ⅰ) 사례 학교의 공간 계획은 대부분의 일본 방범대책을 충실히 반영하고 있다. ⅱ) 운동장과 교문은 개방적이지만 교사동 출입현관은 철저히 관리되도록 설계되었다. ⅲ) 교사동의 계획은 자연감시 및 출입 통제의 CPTED 원칙을 준수하여 공간으로 구현되어 있다. 이 논문은 실제로 학교 시설을 계획하는 과정에서 건축가가 제안한 CPTED 설계의 특성이라는 점을 고려하면 향후 학교설계를 위한 참고 자료가 될 것이다. 그러나 일본의 사례 연구라는 한계를 극복하기 위하여 추후 논의가 지속되어야 할 것이다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to find the characteristics of the CPTED application method which can be applied in the architectural planning and design stage of educational facilities in order to secure safe school facilities. For this purpose, we surveyed the space applied by the designers to the actual school facilities in Japan which applied the CPTED viewpoint from the stage of school building planning. The results are briefly summarized as follows. ⅰ) The spatial planning of the case schools faithfully reflects the Japanese countermeasures in the architectural design. ⅱ) A playground and a gate, but relatively open, the entrance is designed to be highly controlled. ⅲ) The CPTED principles of spontaneous surveillance and access control are well applied to architectural planning. The results are briefly summarized as follows. Since this paper is case studies in Japan, it is impossible to generalize the results. However, it is meant that it is the architectural result proposed by the architect to establish a safer school in the process of actually planning the school facilities. The detailed research should be discussed to generalize to the CPTED for safer schools.
