국문 초록

본 연구는 학업 정서의 영역성을 탐색하기 위한 것이다. 이를 위해 저자들은 즐거움, 불안, 지루함의 정서에 초점을 두고 영어, 심리학, 경제학의 서로 다른 학습 영역에서 이들 정서의 영역성에 대해 분석하였다. 연구는 대학생 104명을 대상으로 하였고, 학업 정서의 영역성 가정을 확인하기 위해 정서와 학습 영역의 2국면 자료로 이루어진 CFA-MTMM 방식을 이용하였다. 연구 결과, 학업 정서의 영역 특수성이 지지되었고, 영역 일반성은 지지되지 않았다. 이러한 연구 결과는 학업 정서가 영역 특수적인 방식으로 체계화됨을 의미한다. 더불어 학업 정서의 영역성 연구에 있어 영역 복합성의 개념을 제시하였다. 경쟁 모델의 비교를 통해 영역 특수성에 비해 영역 복합성이 자료에 보다 적합한 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구 결과는 교사들이 학생들을 지도할 때 정서와 학습영역 모두를 고려해야 함을 시사한다. 향후 연구를 위해 방법론적 및 교육적 함의가 논의되었다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to investigate the domain issue of academic emotions. The authors analyzed the domain characteristics of emotions and focused on experiences of enjoyment, boredom, anxiety in the domain of English, Psychology, Economics. The sample consisted of 104 university students. Confirmatory multitrait-multimethod factor analysis of the 2-faceted dataset (emotions and domains) corroborated assumptions of domain specificity. Results support the domain specificity of academic emotions. The domain generality wes not supported in these analysis. Our results indicate that academic emotions are largely organized along domain-specific lines. Additionally, this study addresses the domain-complexity in academic emotions. A comparison of competing models suggests that domain complexity model fits the data better than domain specificity model. The results suggest that teachers should consider both the domain and emotion when teaching the students. Methodological and educational implications as well as directions for future research are discussed.
