국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 어머니 대상 비폭력대화 프로그램이 중학생 자녀의 어머니와의 관계 및 자아개념에 미치는 효과를 알아보는데 있다. 본 연구를 위해 Y시 소재 (사)C청소년자원봉사단체에서 활동 중인 중학생들의 어머니 14명을 선정하여, 이 중 7명에게 24회기로 구성된 비폭력대화 프로그램을 실시하였으며, 프로그램 전후로 중학생 자녀들에게 어머니-자녀관계 검사 및 자아개념 검사를 실시하였다. 비폭력대화 프로그램의 효과를 검증하기 위하여 SPSS/WIN 21.0으로 공분산분석(ANCOVA)을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결과와 논의를 통하여 얻은 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 어머니 대상 비폭력대화 프로그램은 중학생 자녀의 어머니와의 관계 하위요인중 정서안정, 친밀, 존경의 향상에 효과가 있다. 둘째, 어머니 대상 비폭력대화 프로그램은 중학생 자녀의 자아개념 하위요인 중 성취자아와 신체자아 향상에 효과가 있다. 어머니를 대상으로 하는 비폭력대화 프로그램에 참여한 어머니의 자녀들이 지각한 어머니와 관계나 자아개념은 향상되었다. 이는 비폭력대화 프로그램에 참여한 어머니의 대화방법과 자녀들에 대한 태도의 변화가 자녀들의 어머니와의 관계나 자아개념의 변화를 가져온 것으로 판단된다.

영문 초록

The purpose of the study is to examine the effect of the non-violence communication program for mothers on mother-children relationship and self concept of their junior high school children. For the purpose of the study, 14 mothers, who participated in youth voluntary activity in Y city, were selected, and 7 mothers among them were placed in experimental group. The non-violence communication program which consists of 24 sessions were treated to experimental group. The analysis of covariance was conducted to examine the effect of non-violence communication using SPSS/WIN 21.0 program. The conclusions from results and discussions are as follows: First, the non-violence communication program for mothers effects on emotional stability, intimacy, respect which are sub-factors of mother-children relationship of their junior high school children. Second, the non-violence communication program for mothers effects on self of accomplishment and self of body which are sub-factors of self concept of their junior high school children. In conclusion, the non-violence communication program for mothers effects on mother-children relationship and self concept of their junior high school children. It suggests that the change of communication methods and attitudes of mothers who participated in the non-violence communication program changed their junior high school children’s mother-children relationship and self concept
