스포츠 강사를 활용한 초등학교 체육 협력 수업

국문 초록

본 연구에서는 스포츠 강사 제도 도입 이후 초등학교의 스포츠 강사와 담임교사간에 이루어지는 협력 수업이 어떻게 계획되고 실행되고 있는지 알아보고, 보다 나은 협력 수업을 위한 방안을 모색해 보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 스포츠 강사와 협력 수업을 하고 있는 D 광역시에 소재한 ‘대한초등학교(가칭)’의 담임교사 3명을 연구 참여자로 선정하여 비참여 관찰을 통한 질적연구를 수행하였다. 첫째, 연구 참여자들은 스포츠 강사 배치에 대해 반기고 있었지만, 수업 방법에 대해 혼란스러워 하고 있었다. 둘째, 교사들은 강사와 함께 연간수업계획을 수립하고 매주 이루어질 체육 수업에 대해 논의하고 있었다. 하지만 수업계획은 공식적인 계획과 비공식 계획이 있었고, 수업은 스포츠 강사의 계획에 의해 이루어졌다. 셋째, 수업은 사전에 스포츠 강사와 담임교사간의 협의를 통해 이루어지고 있었지만, 스포츠 강사가 수업을 주도하고 담임교사가 수업을 보조하는 역할하거나 역할 분담을 통해 이루어졌다. 넷째, 교사들은 수업의 방식과 스포츠 강사와 담임교사의 역할에 대한 고민을 하고 있었다.

영문 초록

Many papers have been issued since the sports instructor system was introduced, but an analysis of co-teaching way between homeroom teacher and sports instructor was rare. So, this study tried to examine how the co-teaching between homeroom teacher and sports instructor is conducted and to find a better way for it. To achieve this purpose, this study was carried out from 1 Feb to 24 May 2014 by selecting 3 teachers of ‘Daehan elementary school’(false name) as a participants. Data were collected through written sources such as lesson plan, lesson observation, opened questionnaire, interview. The results were abstracted as follows. First, homeroom teachers set up a yearly, weekly lesson plan and discussed about lessons of the week with sports instructor. The yearly lesson plan was made up through the same grade homeroom teachers conference. and the weekly lesson plan was written by homeroom teacher. But actual lesson was conducted according to the informal lesson plan which was set up by sports instructor. Second, sports instructor prepared all the teaching tools and aids necessary for the P․E classes of the week, and homeroom teacher and students had only to attend the classes. Third, homeroom teacher and sports instructor made classes through one teach-one aid co-teaching or alternative co-teaching. Though there were differences in the degree of homeroom teachers intervention, sports instructor took the lead in P․E class. And homeroom teachers took part in the class as an aid or took the charge of a group of students, especially in level differentiated class. Lastly, homeroom teachers was concerned about the co-teaching method and their roles during classes.
