초등학생의 관점에서 수학수업 사례 분석

국문 초록

본 연구는 초등학생들의 수학 수업에 대한 생각이 수업을 실행한 교사와 어떤 차이가 있는지 알아보기 위해서, 분수 단원 5차시 수업을 실시하였다. 평가지를 통해 수업에 대한 학생들의 생각을 살펴보았으며, 수업 동영상을 되돌려보며 수학적 의사 소통 수업, 학습 과제, 개별 활동, 새로운 개념의 학습에 대한 구체적인 학생들의 생각을 면담하였다. 그 결과, 2학년 학생들은 수학 내용에 대해 강한 자신감을 가졌고, 교사의 교수 방법 및 자신들의 학습 참여도에 대해서도 긍정적인 반응을 보였다. 또한 학습 목표 달성, 가르칠 수학 내용, 교수 학습 방법과 같은 부분에 주목하는 교사와 달리, 자신들의 참여가 많기 때문에 수학적 의사소통 수업을 긍정적으로 생각하였으며, 활동 수행 중에 불편이 있는 학습 과제, 불충분한 학습 안내와 같이 부수적 이지만 실제적인 부분에 대해 민감하게 반응하였다. 이를 토대로 학생 중심 수업을 구현하는데 시사점을 제공하고자 하였다.

영문 초록

This study conducted fraction lessons five times to determine the perspectives of elementary students on mathematics lessons. Through the assessment papers, this study looked at students’ perspectives on the lessons. It also conducted interviews with the students to determine their specific perspectives on mathematical communication during lessons, assignments, individual class activities, and learning of new concepts. During the interviews, students watched the recorded films of classes. The results show that the second graders had strong confidence in their understanding of the mathematical content and showed positive responses to teachers’ teaching methods and their class participation. Students showed positive responses on mathematical communication because of active participation, reacted sensitively to assignments that caused an inconvenience to them or because of an insufficient introduction about the lessons. Based on these perspectives, this study aims to for achieving student-centered lessons.
