체대입시반 학생들의 일상적인 학교생활과 입시준비과정 탐색

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 고등학교 방과후학교 체대입시반 수업에 참여하는 학생들의 일상적인 학교생활과 입시준비 과정을 통해 그들의 삶을 통찰하는데 있었다. 연구 참여자는 경기도교육청 소속 S고등학교 체대입시반 방과후수업에 참여한 남학생 10명 이었다. 자료 수집은 심층면담과 반성일지를 통해 이루어졌으며, 수집된 자료는 귀납적 범주분석 방법(Pattern, 1980)을 이용하여 분석하였다. 연구결과는 첫째, 연구 참여자들은 체대입시반 활동을 통해 일상적인 학교생활(내신성적, 실기능력, 정신력 측면)에서 긍정적 인식을 갖고 있었지만, 담임선생님이나 일반과목 선생님들은 부정적 인식을 갖는 것으로 조사되었다. 하지만 친구들은 운동과 공부를 병행한다는 점을 긍정적으로 인식하고 있었다. 둘째, 체대입시반 활동의 참여 동기는 운동을 잘하 고 싶고, 미래에 체육지도자가 되는데 도움이 될 것으로 생각하기 때문인 것으로 조사되었다. 또한 학생들은 사설학원보다는 방과후학교 프로그램에 참여하는 것을 선호하였으며, 체대입시반 활동은 1학년 때부터 시작하는 것이 적합하다는 응답을 하 였다. 결론적으로 연구 참여자들이 체대입시반 활동을 통해 자신의 꿈을 실현하는데 긍정적 영향을 받고 있다는 사실을 발견하였다. 또한, 이러한 연구 결과는 공교육을 통해 체육대학에 진학하려는 고등학생들의 삶을 이해하고, 고등학교에서 진학지하는 체육교사들에게 중요한 진로지도 정보를 제공한다는 점에서 연구의 가치가 있겠다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to explore normal school-life and college preparation of high school students who want to enter college of physical education. For this, 10 high school students at ‘S’ high school located in Kyunggi province in Korea were purposely sampled as research participants. Data collection were made to do in-depth interview and document analysis and the collected data were analyzed using inductive category analysis(Pattern, 1980). In this paper, first, the students taught that their paper score, physical skills, mental abilities were higher than before and normal teachers perceived them negatively and their friends realized them friendly and positively. second, on college preparation period, their motivation of participating on P.E. class was that they were good at sports and their dreams were to be a P.E. teachers and soldiers. they preferred to participate in public school after-school program than institution about P.E.. they like to start in after-school class at 1st grade in high school. advantages were good facilities and P.E. programs in high school. difficulties were studying both paper and physical drills. they were satisfied with their after-school P.E. class and their dreams were P.E. teacher and soldier. In this results, we will respect that public education foundation for the normalization can be expected.
