초등 수학 교과에서 웹기반 협력적 디지털스토리텔링이 학업성취도 및 학업흥미에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구는 초등 수학 교과에서 웹기반 협력적 디지털스토리텔링이 학업성취도 및 학업흥미에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 선행 연구를 탐색하여 웹기반 협력적 디지털스토리텔링의 설계 원리를 학습 과제 및 내용, 교수자 및 학습자 활동, 학습매체, 성찰과 피드백 영역에 따라 도출하였다. 또한 디지털스토리텔링 활동 단계를 학습과제 해결 스토리텔링과 스토리 제작 활동으로 구성하였다. 이를 바탕으로 초등학교 6학년 수학 원 도형 단원의 교수학습 프로그램을 설계하여 실험집 단에 적용하였으며, 비교집단은 교과서에서 제시한 활동을 위주로 수업을 적용하여 학업성취도와 학업흥미를 측정하였다. 분석 결과, 초등 수학 교과에서 웹기반 협력적 디지털스토리텔링은 학업성취도와 학업흥미(상황적 흥미, 개인적 흥미)에 긍정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구를 토대로 향후 웹의 활용 유형과 협력학습에서의 학습자의 역할에 따라 학업성취도와 학업흥미가 어떻게 달라지는지 알아볼 필요가 있다. 또한 학습자간 상호작용 분석을 통해 디지털스토리텔링이 학업성취도 와 학업흥미에 미치는 영향을 질적인 측면에서 이해하고, 그에 따른 교수 학습 전략과 디지털스토리텔링 학습 환경이 갖추어야 할 점을 탐색할 필요가 있다.

영문 초록

This study tried to examine the effects of web-based collaborative digital storytelling on the achievement and academic interest in elementary school mathematics. To do this, principals for instructional design of this storytelling were drawn from the area of learning task and content, activity of instructor and student, media for learning, reflection and feedback by analyzing existing studies. Also, the author organized activity stage as a storytelling for solving of learning task and an activity for making a story. Based on this, the author designed learning program to instruct a unit of circle in Mathematics subject of the sixth grade in elementary school. The peer teacher who was guided for purpose of this study performed an activity where students of control group learned focusing on activity suggested in textbook. Quantiative methods including pre and post schoolwork achievement and individual interest, post situational interest test were used for two groups. Results of this study are as follows. Web-based collaborative digital storytelling in Mathematics of elementary school gives positive influences on student’s achievement and academic interest(situational interest/individual interest). Based on this result, it would be necessary to investigate how student’s achievement and academic interest differ according to usage of web, role of learner etc. And through analysis on interaction among learners, it would be necessary to understand effects of digital storytelling from qualitative aspect, and then, to explore points that teaching and learning strategy and digital storytelling learning environment should have.
