교육연극 활동에 참여한 다문화대안학교 초등생의 협동학습 경험에 관한 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 인천 ‘ㅎ’다문화학교에서 시행한 교육연극 활동을 협동학습의 측면에서 고찰하고 그 특징과 의미를 파악한 질적 연구이다. 2013년 9월부터 11월까지 총 9회동안 참여관찰과 1회의 그룹 면담을 통해 연구 관련 자료를 수집하여 분석하였다. 본 연구를 통해 나타난 인천 ‘ㅎ’다문화학교에서 교육연극을 활용한 협동학습에 참여한 학생들에게 추출한 의미는 바로 “무대를 향해 함께 맞추어 가기”로 나타났다. 연구참여자들인 초등생들은 연극공연을 위해 협동적 관계를 유지한다. 협동학습의 범위는 초기에 학생 간의 협동에서 학생과 교사, 교사와 교사간의 협동으로 확대되어 나타났다. 연구결과, 인천 ‘ㅎ’다문화학교 교육연극 활동의 협동학습 요소의 특징 과 시사점은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 협동학습의 필수요소 중 긍정적 상호의존성, 상호대면활동, 개별과제는 협동학습의 구성요소에 해당한다. 특히 긍정적 상호의존성을 위해서는 학습자의 자발성과 경험에 의한 흥미성을 보장해야 한다. 둘째, 사회적 기술 은 긍정적 상호의존성이 원활하게 발달하기 위한 조정적 요소이다. 특히, 인천 ‘ㅎ’ 다문화학교에서 사회적 기술은 의사소통을 위한 사회적 기술이 중요한 역할을 한다. 셋째, 모둠화 과정은 자발성 여부에 의한 최초의 모둠 구성과 반성적 과정을 통한 공동체 의식 형성에 기여한다.

영문 초록

This study is a qualitative research that investigated educational play activities conducted by Incheon ‘H’ multicultural schools from the perspective of cooperative learning and studied its features and meaning. Research materials were collected through 9 participating observations and 1 group discussion from September to November 2013. The meaning of cooperative learning utilizing educational plays at Incheon ‘H’ multicultural schools in this study was Go together towards the stage . Learners maintain cooperative relationships for play performance. For scope of cooperative learning, it expands from cooperation among students at early stage to cooperation between student and teacher as well as teacher and teacher. Characteristics and implications of cooperative learning elements of Incheon ‘H’ multicultural schools educational play activities shown through research process are as follows. Firstly, among essential elements of cooperative learning, positive interdependence, face-to-face interaction activities, individual assignments belong to components of cooperative learning. Especially for positive interdependence, interest through spontaneity and experiences of learners should be ensured. Secondly, social skills are coordinative element to develop positive interdependence. Especially for social skills at Incheon ‘H’ multicultural schools, social skills for communications play an important role. Thirdly, collecting process contributes to formation of sense of community through the first collecting composition by availability of spontaneity and reflective process.
