영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to analyze factors influencing on decision making for project initiative by residents in the district of Urban renewal project. As study methods, response characteristics each decision making were investigated focusing on independent variables selected based on theories for residence choice and residence move, and pre-studies. And to empirically analyze factors influencing decision making, Logistic Regression Model was conducted for homeowners and tenants. As the results of empirical analysis, factors influencing decision making for homeowners were residence period, number of family members, housing type, satisfaction on residential environment, and location of householder s workplace. Factors influencing decision making for tenants were housing size, satisfaction on residential environment, and school location of tenants children. As shown in analysis results, decision making by residents for Urban renewal project was comprehensively influenced not only simply by profit from redevelopment and payment capacity for additional moving expenses but also by factors like household characteristic, residence characteristic, economic characteristic, location characteristic etc. When designating and planning Urban renewal project district, these factors should be considered for smooth progress of Urban renewal project.
