영문 초록

Population ageing have became unavoidable global trend and population ageing is rapidly increasing in Korea especially. For this reason, we have to prepare expended period of old age surely and adequately. This study aims to explore the Effect of Individual and Regional characteristics on preparation for the old age of individuals especially focusing on case of seoul. Because individuals are nested in their region and formed hierarchical structure.. So we employed Seoul Welfare Panel Study(2010) and Seoul Statistics data to analyze, and using Hierarchical Generalized Linear Model to find out the effects of the individual and regional factors. In this result of study, we found that there are regional effects on preparation for old age of individual and a few variables are statistically significant. Decrease of variance in level 2 shows that regional factors have significant relationship with preparation behavior. With this result, we present policy implication, Policy for population ageing should be supplied steadily especially in aspect of region.
