국문 초록

본 연구는 사회구조의 복잡․다양한 변화와 더불어 교육환경의 변화가 청소년들의 진로선택에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 연구함을 목적으로 하였다. 특성화 고등학교 학생들에 직결된 요인에는 학습자 개인별 학업성취도 외에 특성화 고등학교에 관한 정부의 교육정책, 학교와 기업체의 교류에 관한 산학협동, 기업의 학교와 학생에 대한 지원, 한 가정의 월평균 소득수준, 정상가정과 결손가정 등의 교육환경 변인이 존재한다. 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위하여 설정한 가설은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 정부의 특성화 고등학교에 관한 교육정책에 대한 만족도는 낮을 것으로 추정되며 학생들은 진학을 위주로 진로를 선택할 것이다. 둘째, 산학협동 교류의 활성화에 대한 만족도가 높을수록 학생들은 진학보다 취업에 보다 많은 관심을 가질 것이다. 또한 산학협동 교류에 참여도가 높은 학생일수록 취업을 선택할 것이며, 산학협동 기업의 학교에 대한 기자재 지원과 학생에 대한 장학금 및 생활비 지원에 대한 만족도가 높을수록 취업을 선택할 것이다. 셋째, 월평균 소득이 높은 가정의 학생일수록 진학을 선택할 것이며, 월평균 소득이 낮은 가정의 학생일수록 취업을 선택할 것이다. 넷째, 양친과 함께 생활하는 정상가정의 학생일수록 진학을 선택할 것이며, 편부 또는 편모와 생활하거나 소년소녀 가장과 같은 결손가정의 학생일수록 조기에 경제적 독립을 이루고자 취업을 선택할 것이다. 본 연구에서 도출한 가설검증의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 정부의 교육정책과 진로선택의 상관관계 분석에서 학생들은 정책에 대하여 만족하지 못하는 성향이 강했으며 취업보다는 진학을 주로 선택하는 것으로 나타났다. 우수한 기능 인력의 산업체 조달이라는 특성화 고등학교 설립취지와는 다른 양상을 보이고 있음을 알 수 있다. 둘째, 산학협동과 진로선택의 상관관계 분석에서 산학협동과 학생들의 진로선택의 상관관계는 적은 것으로 나타났으며 대부분의 학생들은 취업보다 진학을 선호하고 있었다. 셋째, 소득수준과 진로선택의 상관관계 분석에서 소득수준이 높을수록 학생들은 진학을 선택하였고, 소득수준이 낮을수록 취업을 선택하였다. 이것은 가설의 설정과 유사한 결과가 도출된 것이다. 넷째, 가정환경과 진로선택의 상관관계 분석에서 부모와 함께 생활하는 정상가정의 학생일수록 진학을 선택했으며, 결손가정의 학생일수록 취업을 선택하는 경향이 있다. 본 연구를 통해서 전문계 고등학교 교육환경 변인들은 학생들의 진로선택에 중요한 환경적 요인이며, 국가․사회적으로 다각적인 제도적 개선이 필요함을 알 수 있다.

영문 초록

This research aimed to study which influence is given to the business information high school students career in the diversification of the social organization and the change of educational environment. To achieve the purpose of this research, investigation of the connected data to this study and questionnaire, quantitative survey were carried out. The analysis of data related the changing factors of educational environment was accomplished in the study on documents and the survey was asked to 480 students in 8 business information high schools on Seoul. The results of this study are summarized as follow. First, according to the analysis on the interrelation of the educational policy and their career choice, a large number of students were not satisfied with the educational policy. So they mainly preferred entering university to getting jobs. It showed that the result was different from the establishment purpose of characteristic which is the supply of well－skilled staff to industries. Second, according to the analysis on the interrelation of the academic－industrial cooperation and their career choice, academic－industrial cooperation hardly affect students career choice and most students preferred entering university to getting occupations. Third, according to the analysis on the interrelation of the income level and their career choice, the higher the income level, the more their going on to university. The lower the income level, the more their employment. This result is similar to the hypothesis establishment. Fourth, according to the analysis on the interrelation of the home background and their career choice, the stabler home the students, the more their applicants for admission to university, a great number of the students from the single－parent family showed a tendency to get occupations. This study proved that the changing factors of educational environment in the business information high school are the main environmental causes in their career choice and the reformation of multilateral education system demands nationally and socially.
