영문 초록

This paper is to find out the major factors causing landslide, to analyze the causalities between landslide and environmental factors, and to develop method for foretelling the landslide risks. Factors causing landslide can be classified into two groups; One is natural factor including the heavy rains during the summer, the river erosion, the nature of the soil, and the topography. The other is human factor including urban land development and construction. In general, heavy rain is the primary factor causing landslide. However, landslide is becoming more disastrous. For instance, the victims by landslide are fourty-seven persons every year during the last two decades. Many methods can be utilized to foretell the occurrence of landslide. They include the scoring method, the seismic refraction prospecting method, and the GIS utilizing method. This paper classifies all the cities and counties into three groups by using the scoring method. It then compares the really hazard areas and the plausibly risky areas. Finally it suggests to introduce the landslide alarming system by utilizing the methods.
