영문 초록

As the unintentional result of national and regional development policies for mountain villages up to date, the mountain village residents living conditions have been improved too much slowly. In order to find the undevelopment problems and development alternatives of mountain villages with potentials for tourist resort, this study focused on the improvements of social infrastructure for the vitalization of the mountain village development. This study examined the factors affecting undevelopment in the tourist resort type of mountain village, which is the sort of periphery region as compared with the closest county center, in terms of linking mechanisms for utilizing social infrastructure of the county center. The study was conducted by 10 interviewers with the subjects of 282 households in Cheong-Yang area and 301 households in Gu-Rae area. From both of the cases the study suggested the major improvement alternatives in terms of strengthening both physical and psychological connections between the county center and the residents` settlement in mountain village. In doing so, this study developed the linking mechanisms corresponding to each linking subjects which are education service, administration service, medical service, cultural service, and other services.
