영문 초록

The purpose of this arrticle is to find out the patterns of regional units according to the housing level, and to study the distribution structure of the pattern. For the purpose, the trends of a quantity and quality level of housing at municipalities and counties are analysed. And, the regional patterns are classified by the principle factor analysis according to the housing level. The results are as followings; 1) The number of houses were increased, but yet it is insufficient at the urban areas. Therefore, the resident`s numbers per each room were double to those of an advanced country. Also, the housing area per one person is lower level especially in the large cities. 2) In the large cities, the ratio of apartment is over 50% and the ratio is increasing gradually. And, the ratio of a worn-out house is very high at rural area. Therefore it is needed to establish a new development technique of a worn-out house in rural and urban areas. 3) The regional patterns of housing are divided into three patterns, a newly-built and high density pattern, a medium pattern, a worn-out and low density pattern, and these are subdivided into 7 types according to the house size. And, the distribution structure of regional patterns is described as a concentric zone pattern from Seoul and the capital area.
