국문 초록

본 연구는 경북 성주군의 한개마을과 그 주변의 풍수(風嗽)자원을 이용하여 관광객의 다양한 욕구 해소는 물론 정체성이 녹아 있는 지역개발이 가능하도록 풍수관광자원의 개발 및 이용 방안을 제시하는데 근본적 목적이 있다. 연구방법으로는 문헌조사와 현장조사를 병행하였다. 연구내용으로 풍수와 관광자원과의 관계를 통해 풍수관광자원에 대한 개념을 정립하였고 형기(形氣)론적 측면에서 한개마을의 특징과 성주군의 풍수관광자원을 분석하였다. 이러한 분석을 통해 성주지역 풍수관광자원의 개발 전략에 관한 기본방안을 제시하였으며, 그에 따른 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 한개마을의 개발에 있어서는 마을 고유의 특성과 정체성을 담은 보전적 개발이 필요하다. 둘째, 한개마을과 주변 풍수자원과의 연계개발이 중요하다. 성주군은 세종대왕자태실을 비롯하여 많은 풍수자원을 보유하고 있어 성주군의 지역성을 잘 대표할 수 있을 것으로 사료된다. 셋째, 성주 지역 캐릭터 및 비보(裨補)풍수 상품 개발이 필요하다. 비보풍수 상품개발로 인해 귀가 후 힐링의 여운이 오래도록 남도록 한다. 본 연구는 아직 우리에게 익숙하지 않는 풍수의 개념을 기본으로 지역자원과 개발과의 융합을 통한 지역의 특수한 개발방안을 제시하고자 하였으며, 현재까지 선행연구가 미미한 풍수자원을 활용한 지역관광개발에 관한 연구로서 의의가 있다고 사료된다.

영문 초록

This research has a fundamental purpose that suggests plans for development and use of Feng-Sui tourism resources so that it is possible not only community development with identity but also visitor's various desire solution by using Hangae Village, Seongju-gun, Gyeongbuk and Feng-Shui resources around the Village. The research method combines literature investigation with field survey. For Feng-Shui tourism resources that are not founded the concept, the research found a new concept through the relationship between Feng-Shui and tourism resources. And the characteristic of Hangae Village and Feng-Shui tourism resources of Seongju-gun in morphological aspects. Through these analyses, the research suggests the basic measures about development strategy of Feng-Shui and tourism resources in Seongju area, and the research results are listed below. First, conservative development with specific characteristics of village and identity is needed for development of Hangae Village. Second, connect & develop between Hangae Village and Feng-Shui resources are important. Third, the character of Seongju area and complementary setup Feng-shui is needed. This research try to support a special development plan of the area through local resources and development's fusion based on Feng-Shui concept that is unfamiliar yet. Moreover, this research is considered that it has the significance as research about regional tourism development, and this uses Feng-Shui resources that there is nonexistent preceding research.
