『愛日堂具慶帖 』을 통해 본 聾巖 李賢輔의 문화 활동

국문 초록

이 연구는『 愛日堂具慶帖 』을 통해 당시 聾巖 李賢輔의 문화 활동을 살펴보고자 한 것이다. 이 시첩은 상･하로 나누어져 있는데, 먼저 권상에는 <戊辰秋漢江飮餞圖>, <己卯季秋花山養老宴圖>, <丙戌重陽日汾川獻燕圖> 등 3편의 그림이 있고 각각 당시의 명사들이 쓴 시들이 있다. 권하에는 이현보가 1519년 안동부사로 있을 때 중양절에 부모와 관내 노인들을 초청 하여 잔치를 베풀면서 지은 시와 이에 화답한 차운시, 1512년 애일당을 건립하고 지은 시와 여기에 화답한 차운시가 수록되어 있다. 실린 작품들은 각각 다른 광경을 그리고 있기는 하나 이들이 공통적으로 다루고 있는 큰주제는 효에 관한 것으로, 이 시화첩의 첩장 목적과 연관이 된다. 예나 지금이나 효는 일상 속에서 당연하게 행해지는 덕목이다. 당시 효행으로 이름났던 이현보는 부모님을 위해 경치 좋은 곳에 건물을 짓고 ‘愛日堂’이라는 당호를 붙이기도 하고, 지방관을 수행하면서 인근에 계신 자신의 부모를 모셔와 신분과 남녀의 차별 없이 養老宴을 벌이고, 그 자신이 속한 九老會를 결성하기도 하였다. 뿐만 아니라 관련된 시를 짓고 당시 교유하던 이들에게 차운시를 받았으며, 그림으로 남겨 시첩으로 제작하였다. 이러한 활동들은 일상 속에서 유교덕목으로 강조되었던 효가 당대의 문화 활동으로까지 이어졌다는 점에서 의미가 있다. 일상생활의 규범이자 가치관의 핵심이었던 효를 실천하기 위해 행해졌던 행동들이 개인적 봉양의 차원을 뛰어넘어 사회적 의미를 지니게 된다는 점에서 중요하다. 뿐만 아니라 이현보의 아들이 이현보가 노년이 되었을 때 또 다시 양로연을 베푼 것 과 이현보 당시 결성되었던 구로회가 몇 백 년을 거쳐 이어져오게 되는 것을 통해 볼 때 하나의 문화적 현상이 대를 이어 지속적인 의미를 지니고 있었음을 알 수 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to examine Nongam(聾巖) Lee Hyeon-bo(李賢輔)'s cultural activity in those days through Aeildanggugyeongcheop(愛日堂具慶帖) . This album of poems is divided into volume one and volume two. First of all, in the first volume, there was 3 pieces of the pictures such as , , . Each has the poems written by prominent figures of the time. The second volume is contained the poems that Lee Hyeon-bo composed with holding a feast by inviting his parents and old people in the jurisdiction during the Double Ninth Festival(重陽節) when he had held the post of Andongbusa(安東府使), the rhyme-borrowing poems that responded to this, the poems that he wrote after building Aeildang(愛日堂) in 1512 and the rhyme-borrowing poems that responded to this. The inserted works are depicting each different scene. However, as a big theme, which is being addressed in common by these things, is related to filial duty, it is associated with the objective of Cheopjang(帖裝) in this album of poems and pictures. In all ages, the filial duty is a virtue that is naturally performed in daily life. Lee Hyeon-bo, who was known for filial behavior in those days, ever attached Dangho(堂號) called ‘Aeildang(愛日堂)’ after building a structure in a place with good landscape for his parents, held Yangroyeon(養老宴) without the discrimination of identity and gender by bringing his parents in a neighborhood while performing a local government official, and also organized Gurohoe(九老會) to which he belongs. In addition, he composed a relevant poem, received Chaunsi(次韻詩) from those who had exchanged at that time, and left it as a picture, resulting in having made the album of poems. These activities have significance in having been led up to cultural activity in those days focusing on filial duty that had been emphasized as the confucian virtue in everyday life. It is important in that the behaviors, which had been performed for practicing filial duty that had been the norm of daily life and the core of values, have a social significance beyond the dimension of the individual supporting. Moreover, considering what Lee Hyeon-bo's son held Yangroyeon once again when Lee Hyeon-bo became old and what Gurohoe, which had been formed in those days of Lee Hyeon-bo, comes to be followed over hundreds of years, one cultural phenomenon can be known to have possessed a continuous significance for generations.
