국문 초록

본 연구는 문화유산 해설서비스 이용여부를 결정하는 관광객들의 특성을 알아보고, 추가적으로 해설이용객들을 대상으로 해설의 인지적?정서적 요소가 관광객들의 방문만족에 영향을 미치는 지에 대한 구조적 관계를 분석하고자 한다. 세계문화유산인 경주 불국사 방문객을 대상으로 문화관광해설사의 해설을 이용하는 관광객의 특성 분석을 위해 이분형 로지스틱 회귀분석을 수행하였고, 해설이용 방문객이 지각하는 인지적?정서적 해설요소가 문화유산 방문만족도에 미치는 영향에 대해서는 구조방정식을 이용해 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 세계문화유산인 경주 불국사 방문객 중 문화관광해설사의 해설이용에 영향을 미치는 관광객의 특성에는 동반형태, 거주지역, 그리고 연령대 순으로 나타났다. 다음으로, 문화관광해설사의 해설이 방문만족에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위한 구조모형분석에서는 해설의 인지적?정서적 요소 중 인지적 요소만 방문만족에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 결과를 토대로 이론적?실무적 함축된 의미를 논하고 시사점을 제시한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is two-fold. First, this study explored tourists" Characteristics influencing the usage of cultural tour guide interpretation service at a wold cultural heritage site. Secondly, it was .hypothesized that the cognitive and emotional components of interpretation impact tourists" overall satisfaction with their visit to the world cultural heritage site. Results showed that tourists" characteristics influencing the usage of cultural tour guide interpretation service include tour party, residence, and age. It was also found that there was a strong support for the impact of the cognitive interpretation service on tourist" overall satisfaction with their visit to the world cultural heritage, but no support for the impact of the emotional interpretation service on it. This study is concluded with the discussion about potential theoretical development and implications for future research.
