국문 초록

본 연구는 크루즈여행은 왜 항공여행처럼 저변 확대되어 대중적이지 못할까? 라는 의문과 대중적이지 못한 상황에서도 크루즈여행을 참여하고자 하는 사람들은 왜 크루즈여행에 참가를 하고자 하는지에 대한 의문을 밝히고자 하였다. 크루즈여행 참가를 꺼리는 대표적인 요인으로 크루즈여행에 대한 제약요인을 도출하고, 크루즈여행을 참가하고자 하는 원동력으로 동기요인을 도출하여 이러한 요인들이 태도 및 행동의도에 미치는 영향관계를 실증적으로 연구하여 크루즈여행 참가 모델을 제안하고자 하였다. 요인분석 결과 크루즈여행 제약요인은 내재적 제약의 단일차원으로, 크루즈여행의 동기는 자부심과 사회적 인정, 일상탈출과 휴식, 교육과 스릴, 관계유지의 4개 요인으로 구분되었으며, 태도는 정서적 태도 개념의 단일차원으로, 행동의도 또한 단일차원으로 구분되었다. 가설검증 결과 크루즈여행의 제약은 자부심과 사회적 인정, 일상탈출과 휴식, 교육과 스릴의 크루즈여행 동기에 유의한 부(-)의 영향을 미쳤으나 관계유지에는 유의한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났으며, 또한 제약은 크루즈여행에 대한 태도에도 부(-)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 크루즈여행 동기 4요인 모두 크루즈여행에 대한 태도에 유의한 영향을 미치고, 태도는 행동의도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 연구되었다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to find answers to the question on why cruise travel is not as popular as air travel and why those that want to participate in cruise travel want to do so even though it is not popular. Upon deducing constraint factors on cruise travel as main factors of being reluctant to participate in cruise travel and deducing motive factors as driving force to participate in cruise travel, the purpose was to empirically examine the relation of effects of such factors on attitude and behavior intention to propose a cruise travel participation model. The result of factor analysis showed that constraint factor of cruise travel was classified into a single dimension and motive of cruise travel was classified into the four factors of self-esteem & social recognition, escape & rest, education & thrill and relationship maintenance. Attitude was classified into a single dimension of emotional attitude concept and behavior intention was also classified into a single dimension.The result of hypothesis showed that constraints of cruise travel had meaningfully negative effects on self-esteem and social recognition, escape and rest and learning & thrill cruise travel motives but it did not have meaningful effects on relationship maintenance. In addition, it was found that constraint had negative effects on attitude towards cruise travel. It was also found that all four factors of cruise travel motive have meaningful effects on attitude towards cruise travel and attitude has meaningful effects on behavior intention.
