權寔의 隨槎日錄 考察

국문 초록

본고는 19세기의 近畿南人 蓂生 權寔의 隨槎日錄 에 대한 연구이다. 수사일록 은 權寔이 1829년에 正使 柳相祚가 進賀兼冬至使의 임무를 띠고 사행을 갈 때 伴倘의 자격으로 따라간 기록이다. 수사일록 은 아직까지 저자가 누군지 제대로 파악하지 못했기 때문에 본고에서는 연행록 전반에 있어서 수사일록 이 가지는 巨視的 접근보다는 수사일록 자체에 주안 점을 두어 微視的 접근 방식의 일환으로 고찰하였다. 수사일록 에는 연행의 여정 및 경로가 자세하게 기록되어 있을 뿐 아니라, 당일 여정 뒷부분에 시를 삽입하는 형식을 취하였다. 수사일록 에 나타난 특징 점을 세 가지로 분류하여 살펴보았다. 첫째, 남인으로서의 연행이다. 권식은 같은 남인이라는 同黨의식을 발판으로 柳相祚에게 끊임없는 청탁을 통해 사행단의 대열에 참여할 수 있었던 것이다. 이런 의식은 그의 시를 통해서 정황이 포착된다. 둘째, 여행과정에서 수창한 游荷 趙秉龜, 芝園 趙秀三, 그리고 正使 柳相祚의 아우인 柳徽祚의 수창시를 통해 그들의 교유를 살펴보았다. 셋째, 실증적 글쓰기이다. 이는 특별한 장소나 사건, 건물 등에 대한 저자의 관찰력과 통찰력이 돋보이는 면모이다. 소릉하의 지리적 위치, 장례문화에 대한 조선과 청의 차이점, 청의 선박의 구조와 특징들에 대해 실증적인 글쓰기를 지향하고 있다. 본고는 수사일록 자체에 대한 미시적 접근에서 출발하였다. 19세기 연행록 전체에서 수사일록 이 차지하는 비중이나 한국문학사에 있어서 수사일록 이 가지는 의의에 대해서 자세히 조명하지 못한 것이 본고의 한계점이라 할 수 있다. 이 부분에 대해서는 19세기 연행록 전체를 연구해야만 가능한 일이므로 아직까지 필자의 역량이 이 수준에 와 있지 못하다. 그러므로 거시적 측면에서의 수사일록 이 가지는 의의와 특징점에 대한 논의는 차후의 과제로 남겨둔다.

영문 초록

This paper examines Myeongsaeng Kwon Sik's Susailrok , a Namin in the vicinity of the capital area in 19th century. Kwon Sik's Susailrok is the record of the trip that he had as a bandang following a leading ambassador, Yu Sang-jo, with the duty of jinha gyeom dongjisa in 1829. As the writer of Susailrok hasn't been found out exactly, in this paper, Susailrok was investigated in a microscopic way focusing on itself rather than in a macroscopic way in the context of whole record of the ambassador's journey Yeonhangrok in this paper. In Susailrok , the itinerary and route of the journey were recorded in detail, and a poem was also included following the itinerary of a day. The characteristics of Susailrok were studied in three categories. First, the envoy trip as a Namin. Kwon Sik could join the envoy group through incessant requests to Ryu Sang-jo on the ground of the awareness of the same party as Namin. This attitude and situation are detected in his poems. Second, the social relationships among Yuha Jo Byeong-gu, Jiwon Jo Su-sam, and Ryu Hwi-jo, the envoy Ryu Sang-jo's brother through their Soochang poems during the trip. Third, empirical writing. It makes the author's observation and insight about particular places, events, buildings and son on look better. It pursues empirical writing about the geographical location of Soreungha, the differences in the funeral culture between Joseon and Ching, and the structure and features of vessels of Ching. This paper began from a microscopic approach toward Susailrok itself. The limits of this paper are that the importance of Susailrok in the whole Yeonhaengroks of the 19th century, and its meanings in the history of Korean literature were not examined enough. This is possible only when the whole Yeonhaengroks in the 19th century are studied, and this writer's competence hasn't reached this level yet. Therefore, the meanings and characteristics of Susailrok in terms of poetry are to be studied later.
