다문화 학생의 한국어 교육 현황과 정책 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 다문화 학생이 전체 학생의 1%를 넘어선 현상에 주목하여 다문화 학생의 한국어 교육 현황과 정책을 연구하였다. 기존의 한국어 교육과 정책 분야의 선행 연구를 바탕으로 다문화 예비학교의 운영 현황을 중심으로 분석하였다. 다문화 예비학교는 다문화 학생의 한국어(KSL)와 한국문화 교육을 전담하며, 전반적인 다문화 교육 정책을 지원하고 있다. 정부의 다문화 교육 정책 보완과 학계의 지속적인 보완 연구를 제안하였다. 정책의 보완 내용은 다문화 예비학교 교과과정에 심리상담 도입, 학교 급별에 맞는 다문화 예비학교 지정, 다중언어 강사의 탄력적 활용을 위한 체계적인 인력풀 구축이다. 그리고 학계의 다문화학생의 한국어 교육을 위한 발전적 제언으로는 한국어 진단ㆍ평가도구 개발과 수준별 한국어 교재 개발이 있다.

영문 초록

Focusing on status quo that multicultural students exceed 1% of all students, this study research a Korean Language Education System and policies of multicultural students. This study puts emphasis on analyzing current conditions of multicultural preschool based on advanced research in the field of Korean education and politics. The preschool is charge of Korean (KSL) of multicultural students and Korean-culture education and supports general multicultural education policies. Also, this study suggests that supplementation of multicultural education policy on government and continuous supplementation research. The contents are Introduction of multicultural psychology counseling at school curriculum, designation of multicultural preschool for elementary, middle and high schools, and establish systematic system for flexible use of multiple language instructor. For a proposal of KSL, there are Korean diagnosis and development of questions, and level Korean textbook development.
