영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to develope an educational program for host-families through a questionnaire survey of host-families who have an experiences for foreign tourists. The results of this study, it is necessary to provide host-families with education concerning manners/etiquette, traditional cultures and etiquette, explication of cultural assets, hospitality services in which they can take a course with the public general and students by establishing the course at the cultural classroom that local governments are operating. And financial and administrative support will have to be provided for them to be able to participate in the foreign language learning program operated by universities/colleges in partnership with them. And it is necessary to obligate host-families to complete this educational programs, further introduce the qualification system and implement the class system of host-families. This study may have several limitations. Among other things, there are the lack of the literature review on home-stay and the lack of diverse comparisons of foreign cases. Therefore, the securing of reliability of home-stay by foreign tourists through the qualification system and the screening system will have to be the task of the subsequent follow-up study.
