한식당 경영자의 특성이 경영성과에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 한식당 경영자의 특성이 경영성과에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 실증적 분석을 통하여 알아보고 관련 시사점을 제시하는 것이다. 이를 위하여 수도권 소재 한식당을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 총 360부의 표본을 실증분석에 이용하였다. 분석결과, 경영자 특성은 성취욕구, 위험감수성향, 리더십, 경영목적 등 4가지 유형으로 구분되었고, 경영성과는 인지된 성과지표와 점포운영만족도로 구분되어 졌다. 이러한 경영자 특성이 경영성과에 미치는 영향을 분석한 결과, 성취욕구, 위험감수성향, 경영목적이 인지된 성과지표에, 위험감수성향, 리더십이 점포운영 만족도에 통계적으로 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 경영자 특성 중 인지된 성과지표와 점포운영 만족도 모두에 영향을 미치는 요인은 위험감수성향이다. 기술적 통계에 따르면 한식당 경영자들이 가장 중요하다고 인식하는 특성은 성취욕구이다. 그러나 경영성과에는 위험감수성향이 더 많은 영향을 미치고 있기 때문에 한식당 경영자들은 위험감수성향을 키우기 위한 노력의 일환으로, 과감한 의사결정을 위해서라도 기업경영에 필요한 다양한 지식을 함양하고 동종 업계 경영자들과의 네트워크를 통하여 조언을 항상 구할 수 있는 시스템을 갖추는 등 다양한 노력이 필요하리라 사료된다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to examine how the characteristics of an organizational Korean restaurant manager affect the business performances perceived by the manager and suggest the measures for it. For this research, a survey is conducted to the managers of Korean restaurants located in the capital area. And with 360 sheets as its samples, the study performs factor analysis, difference verification, multiple and regression analysis, etc. According to the analysis results, among the characteristic factors of the managers, their desire to accomplish, risk-taking propensity, and management objects affect recognized performance indicators, and their risk-taking propensity and leadership influence satisfaction of restaurant operations. Among the characteristic factors of the managers, their risk-taking propensity is the factor that affects all the business performances, so Korean restaurant managers should cope with the corporate environment positively for decision making beforehand and also can gain the business performances they have intended when they are willing to perform drastic investment. And among the characteristics factors of the managers, desire to accomplish shows the highest value; however, there is also meaningful result that it is needed to have measures to enhance their risk-taking propensity.
