국문 초록

본 연구는 청소년이 지각한 어머니의 조부모 부양행동과 조부모와의 동거경험에 따른 청소년의 노인에 대한 인식을 알아보는데 그 목적이 있다. 본 연구의 조사대상은 대구광역시에 소재하는 일반계 고등학교 2학년에 재학중인 남ㆍ녀 학생으로서 조사방법은 질문지를 사용하였다. 본 연구결과 청소년이 지각한 어머니의 조부모 부양행동에 따라 청소년의 노인에 대한 인식은 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났으나, 조부모와의 동거경험에 따라 청소년의 노인에 대한 인식은 유의한 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 본 연구의 결과를 볼 때 청소년이 노인에 대해 보다 긍정적인 인식을 가질 수 있도록 하기 위해서는 어머니가 조부모에 대한 자신의 부양행동에 적극적인 관심을 가지고 자녀에게 실천적인 행동으로 모범을 보여야 할 필요가 있으며, 그리고 조부모와의 단순한 동거경험만을 강조할 것이 아니라 청소년과 조부모간에 긍정적인 친밀한 관계가 형성되도륵 관심을 기울이는 것이 필요하다고 생각된다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to investigate the influences of mother's support behavior for the grandparent which adolescent have perceived and the experience of the cohabitation with their grandparent on adolescent's perception toward the elderly. The subjects of this study were 556 students who were selected at random from the second grade of high school in Daegu. A questionnaire was used' as survey method. Factor analysis, and ANOVA were employed for data analysis, and Scheff test for post - hoc analysis. The main findings were as follows, First, there were significant differences in the adolescents' perception toward the elderly according to the degree of the adolescents had perceived their mother's support behavior for their grandparents. Adolescents, who perceived that their mother had given strong support to their grandparents economically, had a more positive perception of the economic, family-relational, and social aspect of the elderly than those who perceived not. And adolescents, who perceived that their mother had given strong support to their grandparents emotionally, had a more positive perception of the psychological, family-relational, and social aspect of the elderly than those who perceived not Also adolescents, who perceived that their mother had given strong support to their grandparents physically, had a more positive perception of the family-relational and social aspect of the elderly than those with a different view. Second, adolescents' perception toward the elderly was not different according to the experience of the cohabitation with their grandparents.
