국문 초록

東岳 李安訥은 16C말ㆍ17C초의 시기를 살았던 인물로 목릉성세의 시대에 시에 있어서 권필과 二才로 병칭되었던 문인이다. 그가 남긴 2913제 4379수의 한시는 『東岳集』의 체재가 작자의 다양한 現地 체험에 따라 그 시기에 지어진 작품을 한 권으로 묶고, 이를 시대 순으로 합하는 편차방식을 택하고 있어 저작 시기의 추정이 용이하다. 창작의 시공간을 중심으로 합한 방식을 취한 이안눌의 자편고는 철저한 ‘一官一錄’의 원칙 하에 만들어진 문집이라는 점에서 특히 주목된다. 이와 같은 『東岳集』의 시고에 따른 연대별ㆍ시간별 체제는 작자의 행적을 쉽게 알 수 있게 한다. 이에 본 연구는 동악 이안눌의 한시가 여러 지역의 목민관을 역임하였던 작자의 특별한 체험을 바탕으로 각 지방과 관련된 구체적 정보를 상세히 기록하여 보충하는 인문 지리적 특성을 가진다는 점에 주목하여 시세계를 고찰하여 보았다. 먼저 인문 지리적 인식의 배경으로 첫째, 전국의 8도 중에서 황해도를 제외한 7곳의 걸친 넓은 지역의 지방관을 역임하였던 특수한 관력을 들 수 있다. 둘째, 임ㆍ병란 등의 전란을 겪은 후 국토 산하와 민족의 역사에 대한 관심이 고조된 것이다. 셋째, 地志를 치정의 한 방편으로 인식한 관인문학으로서의 자각을 들 수 있다. 넷째, 이안눌이 基韓範杜의 시학을 기초로 하였다는 점을 들 수 있는데, 이러한 점은 그가 두보의 시를 萬三千讀 했다는 여러 시화의 기록에서도 확인된다. 이안눌 한시의 인문 지리적 인식은 첫째, 관할지에서의 장소와 시간에 관한 각별한 의식을 토대로 기후, 풍물, 풍속 등을 시어로 수용한 작품을 창작하였다는 점이다. 각 지역의 鄕土的 특색을 시화하는데 남다른 식견을 가지고 새로운 풍물, 관련 지역의 풍토, 그곳에 사는 이들의 삶에 관심을 보인다. 관할지의 구체적인 사항을 담은 地志에 관심을 가지고 그것을 시의 형식으로 드러내는 것이다. 따라서 전국에 걸친 다양한 現地에서의 체험을 바탕으로 土風民物을 형상화한 이러한 시편들은 輿地志로서의 특별한 의미를 가진다고 하겠다. 둘째, 산과 강, 마을의 이름을 포함한 고유 지명이나, 호, 벼슬 이름 등 사람을 지칭하는 고유명사 등을 거리낌 없이 시 속에 삽입하였으며, 단군을 비롯한 혁거세, 온조왕 등의 역사 속 인물들을 차용하여 민족의 긍지와 역사의식을 되새기고 자 하였다는 점이다. 관할지의 토풍민물이나 조선의 고유지명ㆍ인명 등을 비롯한 인문 지리에 관한 제반사항을 시어화한 이러한 태도는 생경한 어감이라든가 시의 흥취라기보다는 시의 내용상 사실성과 구체성 확보의 차원으로 해석될 수 있다.

영문 초록

Dongak Yi Ahn-nul, who lived in the late 16th and early 17th centuries, is a literary man ranked as one of the two genius including Gwon Pil in the age of cultural prosperity. Regarding the 2913 Chinese poems and 4379 pieces that he left, the system of (the collection of Yi Ahn-nul's literary works) selected an editing method in which literary works were divided and made up into a volume in accordance with each time when the poet was in the place of his work and those works were integrated chronologically, thus, it may be easy to estimate the time of writing. Accordingly, this study was to review Yi Ahn-nul's poetic world focusing on the point that his Chinese poems had anthropogeographic characteristics that specific information on each area was detailed and supplemented based on the special experiences of the author who had filled his posts as a governor in many areas. With regard to anthropogeographic characteristics of Yi Ahn-nul's Chinese poems, first, he creased works in which climates, lifestyles and customs were accepted through poetic words on the ground of particular senses he felt about the space and time of his post. He had unique views in making each area's native characteristics into poems. He also showed interest in new lifestyles, the relevant areas' natural features and the life of those who lived in the areas. Therefore, these poems, in which journeys, climates and customs were shaped on the basis of various field experiences across the nation, may have special meanings as a geographical book. Second, as for the anthropogeographic characteristics of his poems, he did not hesitate to insert proper place names including those of mountains, rivers and villages or proper nouns naming people such as pen names and official posts. He also intended to mediate national pride and historical mind by borrowing historic characters such as Dan-gun, Hyeokgeose and King Onjo. Such an attitude is interpreted as the dimension in which he tried to secure reality and concreteness for the contents of poems, rather than as a crude sense of words or poetic charms. In particular, the poetic structure, where general anthropogeographic facts in his place of post were finely connected and composed including native customs and people or proper names of places and persons in the Chosun Dynasty, may come from the author's purpose to express his "intended landscapes" effectively.
