영문 초록

International Organization for standardization has been pursuing a uniform international standard for environment management as nations have realized the importance of environment protection. ISO 14001 requirements as environmental management system (EMS) have been developed to support continuous improvement to environment management. We investigate the data that were resulted from EMS assessment of manufacturing industry on the basis of ISO 14001:2004 requirements. The data were analyzed based on industry characteristics using analysis of variance and chi-square tests in order to see if there are any statistically significant differences. Interpretation and implications as a result of statistical analyses were mentioned.
