국문 초록

들뢰즈를 교육학적으로 이해하려는 시도에서 배움에 관한 논의는 그 핵심에 자리한다. 그는 기능이나 인식의 완성 상태에 다다른 것이 배움의 완료요, 이제 이것이 끝났으니 가르침이 시작된다고 생각하는 것은 사회적 억압에 불과하다고 말한다. 오히려 진정한 배움이란 ‘문제’를 제기하는 일에 있다. 그러나 이 문제제기의 심급은 ‘이념적 객체들’로서 지식, 신체 및 대상을 바라볼 것을 요구하기에 경험적으로 확인 불가능하다. 죽음 또한 그러하다. 그의 시간론에 따르자면 우리는 죽음 자체를 경험해 볼 수 없다. 오히려 늘 벌어지고 있는 사건으로서의 죽음을 사유함으로써만 이를 총체적으로 이해할 수 있다. 배움은 삶의 매 계기를 통한 인식의 변환을, 죽음은 그 인식의 변환에 잇따른 실존의 변환을 가리키고 있다는 점에서 깊은 관련을 맺는다. 양자의 관계를 이해하는 일은 그의 배움론을 풍요롭게 해주는 동시에, 그간 그의 방대한 사유에서 간과해왔던 인간론을 정초하는 역할을 해낼 것이다.

영문 초록

In the educational exploration of Deleuze, the argument of the apprenticeship takes a central position. If the perfect performance of English conversation and the butterfly skill are the completion of the apprenticeship, then we have the tendency to teach other people. For Deleuze, this way of thought is merely a result as a social oppression. Rather, an authentic apprenticeship is a proposition of ‘the problem.’ However, these levels cannot identify as empirical dimensions since these require a knowledge, a body and an object world as ‘the ideal objects.’ Death has the same problem. In terms of his argument of the time, we cannot experience the death itself. We can catch the meaning wholly, only thinking the death as the event always occurs; in other words it supposes ‘the problem.’ Thus, the apprenticeship and the death have a deep relationship, since the former refers through the transformation of the consciousness successively while the latter refers to the existential transformation as the end of the formal process. The understanding of this relationship makes it possible to understand his apprenticeship deeply; at the same time it is expected that we found his humanistic aspect.
