학교벽화의 관심도에 따른 정서지능의 관계성 연구

국문 초록

정서지능은 많은 학자들에 의해서 인간의 감성정도를 측정하는 도구로 사용되고 있다. 따라서 이 논문은 학교벽화를 통하여, 학생들에게 지식중심의 교육과정뿐 만 아니라, 학교환경 속에서 정서를 활성화하여 시대가 요구하는 바람직한 인간상을 구현하는데 목적이 있다. 학교벽화가 학생의 정서지능 바람직한 영향을 준다면 벽화에 의한 정서의 활성화 교육이 가능하다고 본다. 따라서 본 논문은 벽화가 제작된 초등학교를 대상으로 하여 학교벽화의 관심도에 따른 정서지능의 관계성을 분석하였다. 그 결과, 벽화 관심도가 높은 학생일수록 정서이입 및 정서조절에는 긍정적인 영향을 주었으나 정서표현에서는 이와는 반대로 줄어드는 경향성을 보였다. 한편 정서인식에서는 벽화 관심도가 중간보다 다소 위의 값을 가질 때 정서인식을 가장 잘하고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 그럼에도 불구하고 벽화의 관심도가 높은 학생일수록 전체적인 정서가 높아 감을 알 수 있었다. 따라서 학교 외벽, 건물 벽 및 담벼락 등에 벽화그리기는 학생들의 정서적 환경개선에 큰 밑 걸음이 될 것이다.

영문 초록

Emotional intelligence has been used as tools to measure a man’s sensitivity by many social scientists. The purposes in this paper is to search a method for activating the emotional intelligence by the school mural. Improving emotional intelligence by appreciating school mural, the activation of the emotional intelligence by the mural is possible. And so, this paper analyzes relations between the interest level of the school mural and the emotional intelligence in H-elementary school having the mural on outside of the wall. As a result, the higher the interest level of the school mural is, the more effective each emotional empathy and control of the students become. But, the higher the level is, the more decreased emotional expression become. On the other hand, emotional perception is very good when the interest level of the school mural is situated above average value. As a whole, the higher the interest level of the school mural is, the more effective the total emotion of the students become. Therefore, painting on the external wall of a building and the surface of a wall must be drawn to enhance emotional environments and situations of students.
