영문 초록

IT industry is a key growth engine of the Korean economy, representing 30% of total exports. The major products of domestic IT Industry, such as semiconductors, display panels, mobile phones, have far surpassed other country’s competitors, leading the global IT Market. These products have already started to rise as first-level product of worldwide IT industry since the 1990s. This paper extracts success factors from initial process of research and development to current sustainable growth phase for world-class of IT products. The result shows that key common success factors are product selection and concentration, initial government-led joint R&D, entrepreneurial aggressive investment and global market strategy.
