쓰기 과제에 드러난 내용 요소 분석

국문 초록

쓰기 과제는 글쓰기 과정에서 학습자에게 주어지는 수행 과제의 일종이며 기본적인 구성 요소로 주제, 목적, 예상 독자, 방법이 있다. 과거의 교육 현장에서는 이러한 구성 요소를 갖추지 못한 쓰기 과제가 빈번히 제시되었다. 하지만 2010년 중학교 1학년 국어 교과서 내 쓰기 과제의 구성 요소 설정을 분석하여 본 결과, 쓰기 과제는 대체로 기본적인 구성 요소를 잘 갖추고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 쓰기 과제의 과정 중심ㆍ갈래 중심적 접근의 추상성으로 인해 학습자에게 쓰기 과제가 구체적 내용으로 다가가지 못하는 문제가 있다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해서는 내용 요소의 보완이 필요하다. 쓰기 과제에서 내용 영역을 담당하는 부분은 주제와 읽기 자료인데, 국어 교과서 내 쓰기 과제 조사 결과, 주제 영역과 갈래 간의 상관성을 알 수 있었고, 생활체험문의 읽기 자료의 경우 분석 결과 이상적인 청소년상의 제시 양상을 보였는데, 이는 학습자의 다양한 사고를 자극하기에는 부족하여 보인다. 이의 해결책을 위하여 주제의 경우 갈래별로 주제를 좁혀 쓰기, 과제를 연결하는 방법, 한 가지 주제를 난이도별로 변용하여 다양한 갈래의 글쓰기로 연결하는 방법을 제안하였다. 또한 읽기 자료의 경우, 같은 단원 내에서의 형식적ㆍ내용적 유기성의 강화 및 상호텍스트성의 활용을 통해 학습자의 사고력 신장을 도울 수 있는 읽기 자료의 선정 및 배열을 제안하였다.

영문 초록

Writing assignment, which is given to students as a kind of performance assignments, has fundamental constituents of theme, object, expecting readers, and method. The writing assignments with lack of the fundamental constituents were presented often in previous Korean text books or education fields. According to the analysis of the writing assignments in the 2010 year textbooks, on the other hand, most of the textbooks have the fundamental constituents well. Nevertheless, because of ambiguity or abstractness of the approaches focusing on process or genre in the writing assignments, learners have some problems to write easily the assignments with specific contents. In order to solve this problem, writing assignments need compensation of the content elements. Theme and reading material construct content area in writing assignment. The analysis of theme shows that there is an inter relation between the genre and the content area, and the analysis of reacting materials of living essays shows a trend of representation of an ideal role model of teen ages, which is not sufficient to stimulate various thoughts of the learners. It was suggested, as a solution for the problems related with theme, that to connecting the writing assignments of each other by narrowing themes for each genre, or of diverse genres by using one theme according to the level of difficulty. Also, for the case of reading materials, it was suggested that reading materials are to be chose and arranged in order to enhance thinking power of learner by building up relationships of form and content in the same chapter, or by using intertextuality.
