국문 초록

시각적단서, 최소촉진법, 시간지연법을 연합한 지역사회중심교수가 특수학교에 재학중인 정신지체 중학생의 지역사회적응기술을 증가시키는 지에 대해서 검증하고자 하였다. 그리고 연구대상자인 장애중학생의 내적요인인 나이, 성별, 장애정도에 따라 장애중학생의 지역사회적응기술 습득에 영향을 미치는지 알아보고자 하였다. 중재장소로는 교실중재와 지역사회중재를 실시하였고, 교수전략은 시각적단서, 최소촉진법, 시간지연법을 이용하였다. 그 결과 시각적단서, 최소촉진법, 시간지연법을 연합한 지역사회중심교수가 정신지체 중학생의 지역사회적응기술중에서 지하철, 대형매장, 패스트후드점 이용하기 기술을 증가시켰다. 그리고 장애학생의 나이, 장애정도에 상관없이 지역사회적응기술이 증가되었고 남학생이 여학생보다 지역사회적응기술이 더 향상되었다. 본 연구 결과를 통해서 시각적단서, 최소촉진법, 시간지연법을 연합한 지역사회중심교수의 효과성을 검증하게 되었다.

영문 초록

In this article, we present a study demonstrating that community-based instruction with visual cues, least-to-most prompting, and time delay can improve community skills of middle school students with mental retardation (in a special education school), and also reviewed the impact of age, sex, the level of retardation of students on community skills. In particular, community-referenced simulated instruction and community-based instruction were adopted for interventions, and visual cues, least-to-most prompting, and time delay were adopted for intervention strategies. The results of the present study showed that community-based instruction with visual cues, least-to-most prompting, and time delay improved the ability to use subway, retail chain stores, and fast food restaurants. Students' community use skills were improved regardless of their age or the level of retardation. The findings of the present study suggest that community-based instruction can be a useful method of teaching community use skills to students with mental retardation.
