국문 초록

본 연구는 지역사회통합의 세 차원인 물리적통합, 사회적통합, 심리적통합이 정신장애인의 회복에 어떠한 경로로 영향을 미치는지 탐색적으로 살펴보고자 한다. 이를 위하여 정신장애인의 회복에 영향을 미치는 지역사회통합의 구조적 관계에 대한 경쟁모형을 수립하고, 모형검증을 통해 최적 모형을 찾고자 하였다. 이러한 연구목적을 달성하기 위해 문헌연구와 조사연구를 수행하였다. 설문조사는 전국의 정신보건기관 및 시설 28개 기관에서 총 522부가 분석에 활용되었다. 수집된 자료는 PASW 18.0과 AMOS 7.0 통계 프로그램을 활용하여 분석되었다. 분석방법은 기술 통계방법, 구조방정식모형이 사용되었다. 분석결과 모든 모형이 비교적 적합한 것으로 나타났으나 심리적통합이 물리적통합과 사회적통합을 통해서 회복에 영향을 미치는 ‘심리적통합 경로 모형’이 세 모형 중에서는 상대적으로 가장 적합한 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 토대로 정신장애인의 회복을 위한 지역사회통합의 전략을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to examine how three areas of community integration that are physical integration, social integration, and psychological integration affect recovery of the person with psychiatric disabilities. To this end, this study established the competitive model about structural relations having an effect on recovery of the person with psychiatric disabilities and aimed to find out the better model by verifying the model. To achieve the aim of the study, it conducted the literature review and empirical study. The survey of 28 nationwide mental health agencies and facilities were performed and a total of 522 questionnaires were used for analysis. The data were collected by using SPSS 17.0 and the AMOS 7.0 statistics program. The analysis methods were the descriptive statistic analysis and structural equation modeling. According to the analysis, ‘the path model of psychological integration’ was shown to be most suitable to affect the recovery through physical and social integration. Based on the result, this study suggested a strategy of community integration for recovery of the person with psychiatric disabilities.
