국문 초록

‘미오리짜’ 민요는 젊은 목동이 자신을 시기한 다른 목동들에 의해 살해 될 위기에 처하게 되고, 이것을 피할 방법을 예언자의 능력을 지닌 어린양에게 듣게 되지만, 죽음의 운명을 피하지 않고 도리어 죽음을 겸허하게 받아들이며 자신은 자연과 결혼한 것이라는 유언을 남긴다는 내용을 어린양과 목동의 대화로 풀어 나가고 있다. 어린양과 목동의 대화체 형식을 사용하고 있다는 점과 ‘자연과 결혼함으로 죽음마저 뛰어넘어 자연으로 돌아간다’는 시상을 표현하고 있다는 점에서 이 민요는 ‘인간과 자연의 소통’을 보여주고 있으며 그 소통은 ‘자연과 인간의 합일’로 승화하고 있음을 나타낸다고 할 수 있다. 이 민요는 그 속에 담고 있는 이런 깊은 사상들로 인해 범세계적 가치가 충분히 인정된다고 봐야 할 것이다. 루마니아의 대표적 민요인 ‘‘미오리짜’’는 수많은 학자들에게 끊임없는 연구의 대상이 되고 있다. 그러나 몰도베안 목동을 둘러싸고 전개되는 살인의 음모, 어린양의 폭로, 죽음을 앞에 둔 목동의 유언, 결혼에 비유된 죽음, 늙은 어머니의 슬픔 등 서사적인 사건에 중심을 두고 연구가 이루어져 왔다. 모든 등장인물이 죽음을 앞둔 목동의 비장함을 고조시키는 극적 요소로만 평가되었다. 그 결과 이 민요가 담고 있는 ‘대자연과 인간의 진정한 합일’이 뒤로 가려져 버렸다. 이 소논문은 ‘대자연과 인간의 진정한 합일’이라는 철학적 문제를 놓고 이 민요의 배경과 등장인물을 분석해 보았다.

영문 초록

'Mioriţa'(A little lamb) is one of the most popular romanian folk song. The Romanian spirit is synthesized into the masterpiece of the Romanian folk, the poem 'A little lamb', where a young shepherd is warned by his little white-black lamb, 'Mioriţa', that his fellow shepherds, a Ungurean (Hungarian - from Transilvania) and a Vrancean from Ţara Romanească (Wallachia), plan to murder him and take his flock. The young shepherd, coming from Moldova (Moldavia), instead of resisting, accepts his fate. There are many points of view on the relationship between death and marriage (consolidation with cosmos) represented in this folk song. The majority of romanian critic said that death means the marriage with whole nature. It sounds like human being can't be consolidated with cosmos without death. But, this means that death is just a destiny of all of us and it is a transition to nature where we are come from not a end of existing. A lot of literary works talk about stories of great man or heros who struggle against their fate, but protagonist of 'A little lamb' accepts his mortal fate without any struggle to escape from it, in order that make us to perceive a universal truth. We are come from nature (cosmos) and we must return to nature with the death. No one can escape from it. 'A little lamb' is a romanian folk song, but it's literary merit is worldwide because of it's philosophical speculation and artistic metaphors. The protagonist of 'A little lamb' is not only a ordinary shepherd but also a profound thinker and an ideal human.
