헝가리인의 의사소통방식과 이문화(異文化)관리

국문 초록

헝가리의 의사소통 방식을 연구함에 있어, 헝가리의 민족적 구성과 역사적 경험의 특이성, 문화적 자의식 등의 고려는 매우 중요한 요소이다. 헝가리 민족의 아시아적 기원과 언어의 우랄어적 특성은 헝가리인의 특징적인 면을 보여주며, 동시에 헝가리인의 정체성을 확인시켜주는 한 요소이다. 헝가리인의 정체성을 확립시키는 여러 요소들 중에서도 외침과 전쟁의 고단한 역사 과정, 정치적으로 여러 체제를 겪으면서 겪어야 했을 혼란상과 불확실성, 민족종교를 가지고 있으면서도, 異敎인 기독교를 받아들인 점, 유럽의 중앙부에 자리하고 있음으로 해서, 항상 주변국들과의 관계 속에서 헝 가리의 운명이 결정 지워졌던 주변국가들과의 정세 등이 헝가리인의 의사소통방식을 성립시켜 오는데 일조 하였다. 여기에 더하여 다른 동유럽 공산주의 구가들과는 다르게 공산주의 체제하에서의 민중봉기실패 경험을 갖고 있는 헝가리는 여타의 유럽국가들에 비하여 매우 특이한 경우라고 할 수 있다. 이러한 점들 역시 헝가리인의 의사소통 방식을 형성하는데 매우 중요한 요인으로 작용하였을 것이다. 이러한 일반적인 정체성과 민족성의 개념에 더하여, 언어와 제스춰로 이루어지는 의사소통의 방식을 연구해보았다. 과동한 부정어의 사용, 겸양법의 발달,현재 시제의 미래시제 대치 등에서 헝가리어의 언어적인 특성을 헝가리인의 의사소통 방식과 연관 지어 분석해 보았다. 이러한 두 가지의 근본적인 요인들을 고려하며 실제로 헝가리에 진출한 한국 기업의 사례를 적용하여 분석해 보았다. 앞에서 논의된 의사소통 방식의 특성을 고려한 한국기업의 이문화관리 방식은 비교적 성공적인 것으로 평가되었다. 따라서 의사소통방식을 연구하여 그 결과물을 이문화 관리에 적용시킨 본 연구의 방법론은 타당성을 지닌다고 할 수 있으면, 후곳 연구과제로도 매우 의미있는 주제가 될 것이라고 보여진다.

영문 초록

For centuries, the Hungarians wandered across the steppes of Eastern Europe before they came to the Carpathian Basin, the site of the former Avar empire, which was to become their final homeland. Following the Hungarian Conquest in 896 under King Árpád, the Hungarians rapidly left behind their nomadic lifestyle, dominated by animal herding, to the cultivation of land. Hungary not only adopted the culture of Western Christianity, but also took on itself the defence of its values, at great self-sacrifice. In the case of the Way of Communication of the Hungarians, They had adopted so many historical facts. First, Hungarian culture has always been positioned firmly in the current of European culture trends, not only serving the traditional European ideals of freedom of the individual and community solidarity, but also following the historical development of European culture in the sense that Hungarian culture has always derived its ideals from Western thought and art, and has always contributed creatively to the development of European culture. Secondly, Hungarian culture has always been closely intertwined with the life, endeavors, and history of the Hungarian nation. History shows that the very notions of nation and culture, nation and culture confront us as a kind of Janus-mask: one side shows the struggle of a historical community for survival, while the other shows the historical continuity of high artistic and cultural values; at the same time, what manifests itself at one level as an idea, poetic form, or epic action is at another level the struggle itself, the wish of a human community to find a home, both in its own homeland and within the community of nations, and to be given the opportunity to keep and to show to the world its spiritual and moral values. Our times represents an opportunity to exhibit this twofold intellectual endeavor in all its richness, as Hungarians commemorate, and at the same time open up to the community of nations, the historic achievements.
