국문 초록

빠벨 끄루사노프(Павел Крусанов)는 새로운 ‘뻬쩨르부르그 산문’의 선봉에 선 작가로 평가받고 있다. ‘뻬쩨르부르그 산문’이 가지는 고유성에 대한 공식적인 평가와 연구들은 아직까지 매우 미흡하기 때문에 현대문학에서 그것이 차지하는 위상을 정확하게 설명할 수는 없다. 아직까지는 ‘뻬쩨르부르그 산문’에 속하는 작가들은 그룹을 결정하여 자신들의 색채를 찾아가고 있을 뿐이다. 이 그룹에 참여한 작가들로는 끄루사노프를 필두로 하여 알렉산드르 세까쯔끼이(А. Секацкий), 세르게이 노소프(С. Носов),날 뽀돌스끼(Наль Подольский), 블라지미르 렉샨(В, Рекшан),세르게이 꼬로빈(С. Коровин) 등이다. 이들은 자신을‘신근본주의자’(неофутдаменталист)로 간주하고 있으며, 그들이 내세우는 이상은 ‘미래 제국’(незримая империя)을 실현하는 것이다. 본 논문은 뻬쩨르부르그 산문의 대표작으로 평가받고 있는 끄루사노프의 <아메리카의 무덤>(Американская дырка)의 분석을 통하여 신근본주의(неофундаментализм)에 기초한 ‘뻬쩨르부르그 산문’의 문학적 이상이 작품에 어떻게 투영되어 있는지 고찰한 것이다. 현재 러시아에서 가장 권위 있는 문학상의 하나로 꼽히고 있는 ‘네셔널 베스트셀러’(Национальный бестселлер)’의 2005년 수상작에 선정되기도 하였던 <아메리카의 무덤>은 ‘뻬쩨르부르그 산문’의 문학성과 더불어 현대의 문화적 패러다임을 구성하는 정점에 위치해 있는 작품이라고 할 수 있다. 첫 장에서는 끄루사노프가 인터뷰들을 통해 밝힌 ‘뻬쩨르부르그 산문’이 추구하는 신근본주의, ‘미래 제국’에 대한 개념들을 살펴보았고, 두 번째 장에서는 작품의 개괄적인 줄거리의 흐름을 살펴보았다. 마지막 장에서는 새로운 문예 강령이라고 할 수 있는 ‘제국의 신비적 사실주의’(Имериский мистистический реализм)혹은 ‘신화 제국의 의식’(мифическое имперское сознание)에 기초한 미국 타도를 위한 장난(шутство)과 계략(трюк)이 가지는 심층적 의미가 무엇인지 밝혀보았다. 그 심층적 의미는 크게 두 가지로 나눌 수 있다. 그 하나는 물질적 욕망에 모든 것이 희생되는 후기 자본주의 사회에 대한 작가의 풍자와 비판이며, 다른 하나는 세계 구원이라는 명분을 가지고 또 달리 세계 제패를 꿈꾸고 있는 것은 아닌가 하는 러시아 현대 정치에 대한 풍자와 우려라고 할 수 있다. 이는 한 책략가의 음모가 가지는 주술적 성향을 통해 배타적이고 군국화되어 가는 민족주의, 러시아니즘을 재성찰하는 계기를 마련하고 있다 하겠다. 지금까지의 고찰들은 아직 국내 연구자들에게 시도 되지 않은 ‘뻬쩨르부르그 산문’이라는 새로운 문학 장르, 혹은 영역에 대한 연구의 시발점이 될 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

Pabel Krusnov is evaluated as the author who stands in vanguard of new ‘Petersburg Prose’. There has been not enough public evaluation and studies that ‘Petersburg Prose’ has its uniqueness, thus, it is hard to describe its phase exactly in the modern literature. Furthermore, the authors who belong to the Petersburg Prose have grouped recently and only looking for their colors yet. The authors who belong to this group are Krusnov in top and Aleksandr Cekazki, Sergei Nosov, Nal Podolski, Vladimir Rexian, Sergei Korovin, etc. They regard themselves as ‘New Fundamentalists’ and their ambition is to realize the ‘Future Empire’. This article has studied how the literature of New Fundamentalism is reflected on the works through analyzing Krusnov's which is represented as the masterpiece of Petersburg Prose. The which was even chosen as the ‘National Bestseller’, in 2005 which is one of the most honorable literary award in Russia, at present, is the literary work which is positioned of the top consisting the modern cultural paradigm as well as its literal character of ‘Petersburg Prose’. In the first chapter, I have looked at the concepts on the New Fundamentalism and 'Future Empire' which the ‘Petersburg Prose’ is seeking as Krusnov revealed in his interview. Second chapter looks at the overall storyline of the work. In the final chapter, I have tried to find out the deep meaning that play and trick have to break down America based on 'Mysterious Realism of Empire' or the 'Awareness of Mystical Empire' that can be said as the new literature platform. The deep meaning is divided into two big parts. The one is author's satire and criticism on the latter capitalism society that scarifies everything for the materialistic desire and the other is the satire and worry for the modern Russian politics whether they are dreaming the world domination with the cause of world salvation. It gives a clue for the re-speculation of nationalism and 'Russianism' that become exclusive and miniaturized through the sorcery tendency that a plot of a tactician has. These studies could be the starting point on the new literature genre orarea like ‘Petersburg Prose’ which is never tried by Korean researchers until now.
