유아교육기관의 위생관리 실태 및 안전 인식에 관한 비교연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 유아교육과 재학생들이 4주간의 현장실습을 위하여 유아교육기관 및 보육시설의 위생시설과 위생교육의 실천현황을 파악해서 기관 및 시설의 유형에 따라 위생관리 실태에 차이가 있는지 알아보고 유아들의 안전사고에 대한 사전교육 및 대처방법, 안전을 위한 실천, 안전의식 수준정도를 알아보는 데 목적을 두고 유아교육기관 및 보육시설별로 실습기간동안 실습을 하면서 직접 조사하여 작성한 설문지를 이용하여 실시하였다. 유아교육기관 및 보육시설의 유형에 상관없이 대부분의 기관에서 공통적으로 유아들의 철저한 위생과 안전사고를 예방하기 위한 전문적인 교육이 필요하다고 교사들이 스스로 느끼고 있었고 유아교육기관 및 보육시설에서 안전교육 프로그램의 비율을 높일 필요가 있으며 안전 사고 대비를 위한 정기적인 교사연수의 필요성 그리고 유아교육자가 충분한 안전의식을 갖추어야 한다고 공감하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 교사들의 안전한 환경과 안전교육 그리고 위생적인 환경조성과 실천의 중요성에 대한 공감대는 이미 형성되어 있지만 정작 유아교육기관 및 보육시설에서 실시되고 있는 안전교육과 위생교육이 철저히 실시되고 있지 않고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 앞으로 위생환경 조성과 실천 및 안전교육을 활성화를 위하여 교사들을 지도하고 지원해 주기 위한 제도적인 마련과 현장중심의 교수자료와 교구를 확충해 주는 동시에 정기적으로 체계적이며 실용적인 연수받을 기회를 제공해 주기를 기대한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to inquire into the level of hygienic control and safety awareness, safety measures and safety education at institutions of early childhood education by comparing conditions at different types of institutions of early childhood educationwhere the students from the department of early childhood education at K university spent 4 weeks as trainee teachers. The institutions of early childhood education where the students from the department of early childhood education at K university spent 4 weeks were surveyed to check the level of their hygienic control and safety awareness. The survey was made by students themselves. Teachers at institutions of early childhood education commonly felt the necessity of training for hygiene and safety of children, however, in spite of such consensus, actual hygiene and safety education at institutions of early childhood education seemed to leave much to be desired. According to the result of the study, it is required to support the teachers at institutions of early childhood education systematically to revitalize an education for development of perfect hygiene control and prevention of accidents at the institutions, and it is also required to provide the teachers with practical teaching aids for hygiene and safety education and also with opportunities to get practical training on a regular basis.
