전문대학 예비 유아교사의 교사효능감과 기질적 행동특성에 관한 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 전문대학 예비유아교사들의 교사효능감과 기질적 행동특성에 대해 알아보고자 하였다. 유아교육전공과 보육전공에 따른 예비 유아교사들의 교사효능감과 기질적 행동특성은 차이가 있는지 알아보고, 교사효능감과 기질적 행동특성 간의 상관관계를 알아보아 예비유아교사들의 교사효능감을 높이고 바람직한 교사로서의 역할을 수행하기 위한 기초자료를 제공하고자 한다. 전문대학 예비유아교사의 교사효능감은 유아교육전공과 보육전공 간의 일반적이고 개인적인 교사효능감은 차이가 없었으며, 일반적 교사효능감이 개인적 교사효능감보다 높은 것으로 나타났다. 기질적 행동특성은 유아교육과 보육전공별 차이는 나타나지 않았으며, 사회성, 활동성, 정서성의 순서로 자신의 기질적 특성을 인식하고 있었다. 교사효능감과 기질적 행동특성 간 전체 상관관계는 없었다. 그러나 개인적 교사효능감과 기질적 행동특성 전체, 정서성과는 정적인 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 일반적 교사효능감과 정서성은 부적 상관이 있어 전체적으로 볼 때 전문대학 예비유아교사들은 교사로서 비교적 안정적인 기질적 행동특성을 가진 것으로 볼 수 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between the teacher's efficacy and temperamental characteristics of early childhood pre-service teachers. The subjects of this study are 198 pre-service teachers of department of Early Childhood Education and Educare located in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province. Teacher's Efficacy instrument was developed by Enochs & Riggs(1990) and which Boon Ryu, Lee(1998) reorganized that was used for this study. EAS(Emotionality, Activity, Sociability) for adults which was developed by Buss & Plomin(1984) was used for Temperamental characteristics. The data was analyzed by SPSS PC+ 10.0 program. Means, t-test, Pearson's r were used for data analysis. The results of this study are following : 1. There is no statistically significant difference in the relation teacher's efficacy according to major. 2. pre-service teachers were perceived that temperamental characteristics leveled sociability, activity, emotionality 3. There were partially correlated with teacher's efficacy and temperamental characteristics.
